If you could pick any 3 songs for DLC, what would they be?

Something by Bad Religion that ISN'T "Infected." I hate that whole album and they put that song on GH1.. it was really stupid.

Or anything by 311 or Deftones.

"Just Tonight" by Jimmy Eat World would probably be fun too.

Plus, they should put "Rock and Roll Band" by Boston on there. As much as I love "Foreplay/Long Time," RaRB would be PERFECT for this game.

And one band probably no one knows, but it sounds like their music would work really well w/ this game is 40 Below Summer. Either "Taxi Cab Confession," "Breathless", or "Rain" would be a lot of fun for every instrument. If you know the band, major cool points *yes* If not, check them out.

Yeah, 311 is a big one for me, I think that would be awesome.

Obviously Zeppelin would be cool, but thats not happening.

Yeah, 311 would be amazing, as would Sublime (but they'd have to pick the right song for it to be fun). More blink182 would be sweet. They could've picked a much better song than they did.

Yeah, I would've loved something like I Miss You or The Rock Show. It'd be even more awesome if they put Easy Target/All of This on there as one song.

I want Feeling This. Or The Party Song. Feel This would be great for Rock Band. Not sure about The Party Song, but the drums would be fun.

Other than that, I'd like any old Metallica. Maybe some From First to Last (depends on what), newer System of a Down would be good too. Older stuff would be kind of lame on vocals, too many "talky" parts.

I'd love to see some SOAD on rock band, a lot of their songs are pretty complete with every instrument and vocals too, it would be fun for everyone.

Another faggy pick would be Paramore. I would like them to have some DLC.

I dig "hardcore" bands with chick leads, like Flyleaf and stuff.

In This Moment would be badass too, but they probably aren't popular enough to sneak into the game, maybe one day though.

Some of the bands on the bonus songs aren't popular. They probably won't waste their time on making small stuff for DLC because not enough people would buy it. Maybe for Rock Band 2.

So I totally just played "Nightmare" for the first time, and in the loading screen where they give a little tidbit about the band, it says that the whole band are in their early teens.

I thought that was neat. That is all.

Shows a picture of them. Pretty crazy. They're sick at guitar. Not my type of music, but they're definitely good at their instruments.

It would be cool if they put Zeppelin's Moby Dick on here for dlc, and then let you have like an 8 minute freestyle drum solo in it.

It would probably be the worst multiplayer song, but it would fun playing solo drums.

Cream: "I Feel Free" or "White Room" or "Those Were the Days" or half their other songs
Black Sabbath: "NIB"
Allman Bros.: "One Way Out" or "Statesboro Blues"
Blue Oyster Cult: "The Marshall Plan"
CSNY: "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes"
Deep Purple: "Never Before"
Derek & the Dominos: "Anyday" or "Little Wing" or "Tell the Truth" or "Layla"
The Eagles: "Hotel California"
Eric Clapton: "Blues Power"
Foreigner: "Juke Box Hero"
Pink Floyd: "Money" or "Time"

. . . I'll stop now. . . .

I don't even have a version that has DLC (I have the PS2 version).

Ah, my bad. As I said, I don't have a version where I can download songs.

I'm surprised NIB wasn't just put on the game in the first place. Is it fun? The guitar sounds like it would be.

No. Preferably something from "Suffer." I think the best song choices for RB would be something like "It's a long way to the promised land," or maybe "Broken." And actually, "Into the Night" sounds like it would be a nightmare on expert drums. Lots of cymbals. LOTS.

Oh, and I'm hoping that by using the caps at the end there you're insinuating that I've only listened to them since that album.

Also, all three songs this week are 80 points, thats not like a normal thing for the first day or anything is it?

Yeah, the Serj song they choose to put on is called Beethovens chicken. I haven't heard it, so I don't know if he actually says that or anything in the song.

Still though, seems pretty ballsy, even if it is censored.

I love Serj and Soad especially. I don't think he actually says the title in the song but I'm not positive on that. I have the album but I can vaguely remember the song. Still locking forward to this even though it would have been way cooler for a System song. *yes*

Well, I figured what the hell, since the songs are only 80 points each, might as well buy them.

I'm gonna try all 3 out right now. Word is that the "Shockwave" song by Black Tide are all kids who are all under 18, kinda like Crooked X. The song actually sounds really cool.
