I can beat like 30 or songs on expert. I usually get like 95% and up on expert and like above 97% on hard. Nick seems to think I'm good. Now if I could just get my new pedal in!!!

Dermonds probably the best drummer I know. Its good stuff.
I play on medium fairly well, I haven't tried hard yet though. |

Here's my drums tip: do everything I don't do, and don't do everything I do. |

Okay, well first and importantly, my pedal shipped today, and it will be here for absolute certain tomorrow, so I will be back
As for tips, the stuff they tell you in the loading menu is very true and very helpful. For songs that are giving you difficulty, go into practice and break it down. Start out with the foot pedal and get the basic beat. Then proceed to add one hand at a time. This helps a lot.
Another tip they give you is to not hold the drum sticks too tightly. It's importantly to hold them loosely so you get a bounch off of each pad when you hit it. Also, when you have fast sections where you hit one drum at a time, the drums are not sensitive enough to register all your hits if you hit them too hard. For fast sections, the lighter, the better because your pads will register them better. Also, if you have two quick notes in a row, don't try and hit it twice with one hand. It works much better to do one hit with each hand in rapid succession.

wow that actually answers several of the questions i had. the fast sections where you are hitting just one note trip me up. the other major issue is the foot pedal. i finally found a good position for my foot but my timing still seems to be a bit off sometimes. especially when it a pedal-drum-pedal-drum-pedal-etc. i just lose my timing. i guess it just takes more practice.
i played for like 4 hours thursday, 7 hours friday, 6 hours saturday, and bout 3 yesterday all on drums. great thing is that its always been with at least one another person playing so i've been really enjoying it.

Assuming it was shipped today and assuming they used 2nd day air, it will arrive Wednesday. |

It says estimated arrival 3/4/08. So they might have shipped on Friday, and it wasn't updated. I'm not even sure if I checked it over the weekend.
EDIT: It actually does say it was shipped today. The delivery scan was at 3:45 PM though. That means it must not have left until in between my two previous posts. Still, it says " Rescheduled Delivery: 03/04/2008" Not sure why it says rescheduled means though...

Though of something else that might help. You might already be doing it, but others might not.
When you hit the drum pedal, keep your foot down. Don't let the pedal rise back it. This helps you from getting your foot as tired as it would otherwise. Also, once in the down position, the pedal doesn't even need to rise halfway before you can press it again and register a note. This helps you play multiple pedal beats in a row, as well as not tiring out your foot.

hell yeah that helps. i probably should have tried it out before, but that definitely helps me with several of the songs and just my overall leg endurance

Yeah, the endurance fact is probably the most difficult. If your legs tired in the middle of songs, it messes with everything else. Rather than thinking about the notes with your hands, all you can think about is the pain in your legs, whilst still trying to hit the foot pedal.

Also, I recommend practicing with book feet. That will also help with the endurance factor. And who knows, you may be even better with your opposite foot without even realizing it.

I'm decent on the drums- I started out on expert because I play real drums, so I don't have any tips on getting better. I can beat everything except Blackened That song is a dog.

Blackened is impossible. So is the Who song.

I think Blackened will take some practice for me... I haven't gotten to play it much at all because the drums are too loud, but I bought some gum rubber pads that make them virtually silent and make them bounce like real drums. Should be here sometime this week
