About half way through my band world tour, I decided I wanted to try singing and drums, but I ended up doing singing and guitar. Since I'm new to it, I do singing on medium and guitar on hard (even though I've beaten both vocals and guitar on expert). I'm sure Mark can do these both on expert. I was just wondering if anyone else does this or has tried it.

I can do expert guitar/hard vocals. It just sucks when you get into a song you don't know at all.

I've gotten used to singing and playing guitar, once you are familiar w/ the songs it's pretty easy. You can hum your way through them, but I just think it makes you look dumb. So I'd say just practice the songs you don't know until you're familiar enough with them to not have to glance up at the words/pitch every time.

As far as drums/vocals, I've done it but it's a whole 'nother ball game. I can't do near as well, but that's probably because I'm not as comfortable on drums.

I think after this set I'm going to kick it up a notch. I'm five-starring a lot of the harder songs (Except Suffragette City. God I hate that fudging song), but I've been through the game SO much, I know almost all of the songs. And the songs I don't know I can just improvise and hum when I don't know the words. What difficulty do you play on, Mark?

And my setup is so lame. I have my drum set set all the way up, and my chair all the way down, and i have my mic sitting on where the drumsticks go. I'm really sore after I'm done playing because my chair is so low my knees are up to my neck and i'm leaning forward so I can get to the mic. I need a fudging mic stand. *frown*

You know you can use the headset in place of the mic, right?

Its not quite as responsive, but I've done it before and had no problems.

Yeah, but I don't trust that thing. I'm getting a mic stand in a couple of days, so right now I'll just have to work with what I have.
