Very much like FFXI on the surface, but I've read the game will be much more casual friendly than FFXI.

I'm not in love with the way it looks now. The mouse interface seems clunky, given that it still looks as if movement will be handled by a controller axis. WASD I don't imagine will be too effective for a PS3 player. |

I like the graphics. I was a big fan of the FFXI art, overall, but with wife/job/kid, etc., it was too hardcore for me.
The mouse interface on FFXI was tough, too. You could tell it was built for a controller, and the PC UI was pretty shoddy. I want this on the PS3, though, so that shouldn't be a problem, as long as they fix their customer service and that craptastic front end.

I like the way it looks too. I just hope it does not have that forced group gameplay.

I like the idea of a Final Fantasy MMO, but XI was just a bit too much for me to handle. |

FFXIV should be a bit less involved, in terms of time, grouping, and grinding, at least from the little I've read. I watched some PS3 footage of it the other day and the graphics look great (doh).
