Ok, so here's the deal ... I am sitting at home, popping in Smash Bros. Brawl ... and we got 20 inches of snow! I know I can't be the only one.
Didja go get it?

Approximately 8 more hours for me! I'm not even close to being tired, but sleep should bass the time quicker than just waiting, LOL.
Enjoy the game, man! I'll be right there with ya Brawling it up in the morning.

Didn't even know it came out today til I walked into a mob of GameCrazy kids/emo kids while looking for a rental tonight. They were already lined up at 9pm and this is one of the smaller places around. I'll probably rent it as I won't be playing much, if any local MP and without being able to talk to you guys while playing, I'd be bored as crap. When I get it on rent, I'll make sure to msg you guys

Didn't you used to be all about Wii, like a crazy obsession?
until you got a PS3? |

I still love my wii, just never been a big smash bros fan. Never saw why everybody think it's so great, there aren't enough different moves available, imo. It's always felt like a fighting game for 6 year olds.

I'm looking for another good Wii game to play. We've done all we can do with Mario Galaxy. My wife is playing Endless Ocean, but it seems more like Endless Boredom to me. |

I'm in the same boat....my only recommendation might be MLB Power Pros...even if you aren't a big baseball fan...it's a lot of fun and it's simple; for those of us that liked the older style baseball games.

I second MLB Power Pros. Especially since you can either play using old school type of controls, plus you can still swing the bat as well. Also love that there are so many possibilities of modes and unlockables.

I will third the MLB Power Pros request. It arrived in a trade yesterday and I played it more than Brawl.
The characters are cute, the presentation is BETTER than most sports games, and the modes are limitless. Remote and Nunchuk play is also extremely intuitive, and there are other options.
BOTH Brawl and Power Pros get high marks for control flexibility.

I haven't played Zack and Wiki... I took a look at some reviews for it a while back, but it seemed too kidsy. Maybe, I'll take another look. Mario is fairly kidsy too, but it was great.
I'm also not into sports games, so I don't know about Power Pros... |

I heard No More Heros was pretty good and non-kidsy |

I am really digging No More Heroes. I don't care much for the little free roam pieces that are sprinkled between missions but I dig the style (graphics aren't great but the style is pretty cool) and the action is entertaining. It delivers on what I had hoped for from Red Steel. |

Yeah, I'm considering No More Heroes, though the concept doesn't really thrill me, everyone says it's good. I had resisted Mario too, and I was wrong about that. I also don't know if my wife will be into No More Heroes. I'd like something we can both play together. Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Metroid 3, and Mario Galaxy all were good for playing together. Mario was especially, with the 2nd player stuff. |

I just traded MLB Power Pros away to Speedy. It was a bit overwhelming for me. I like my sports to be more arcadey (if that's even a word).

Bill, have you tried Wario Ware on the Wii? My wife and I got a kick out of playing that together for a while. The darts game on it is a blast (very accurate as well).

Normal is the easy from Melee, Hard is the real Normal, they replaced very easy with easy, easy with normal, normal with hard....etc |

I had it in hand at exactly 12:01. I was standing in line of people saying that they pre-ordered it months ago, and told them that I had just walked in and payed it off 5 minutes ago. By the way, I was 4th in line of about 100 people. |

I've only played this for maybe an hour and change, but you know what I think is the best mode? Spectator. Maybe I'm lame, but I love watching skilled (sometimes not) guys face each other with odd combos of characters and see how they react to moves and whatnot. Though I'd be nice if you could here em talking crap to each other
