I'm pretty excited about Opoona for some reason. I'm also looking forward to Obscure, but I'd like to play the first one before I play Aftermath. |

April & May look better for the Wii. Mario Kart, Wii Fit, and I believe Okami are coming out.

Yeah Baroque is the only one I'm interested in.
I'm 90% sure I'll never play it, because the game doesn't look good, but I'm interested to see how it gets rated.

Actually, it's kinda sad to say, but I think it's the music in a youtube video for the game that got most of my attention... but yeah, I'd wait to see some ratings |

Nintendo Power gave it a 3 in their April issue.
All in all, Baroque has few redeeming qualities, and your money is better spent elsewhere.

Well it seemed a little stupid to me, when I read you had to die to get to certain places. So what, you see an obstacle, so its like OK, I'll just wait to get myself slaughtered by enemies then come back and go through it? Plus the screen shots didn't look impressive to me at all. But there was still a glimmer of hope on my part.

AHAHAHAHA, that's great, I didn't know you had to die in order to advance in the game. I mean, I'm all for trying new gameplay methods, and new kinds of games, but that's just ridiculous. Reminds me of Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter, and I didn't appreciate dying in order to grow stronger in that game either. |

Well it just doesn't really work you know? Its not a really smooth gameplay tactic.

I actually had the patience to beat Dragon Quarter, so I think I'm going to like this game. DQ was a little tedious, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I was actually going to go through it a second time so I could get into some new areas, but I couldn't bring myself to start over again. |

Yeah, as far as gameply tactics go, I don't really enjoy dying. After so many years of playing games, trying my best not to die or get a gameover, it just seems counter intuitive to die, and just plain wrong. I'm still standing by my statement that the music in the youtube video was decent though
But I did play through Breath fo Fire DQ a couple times, and despite new areas, etc., it just got really tedious to die and replay the game again. I just don't have the gaming patience I used to. |

I hear ya. I had to take a lot of breaks from DQ. |

I've heard it's amazing and well worth the 1000 points. Gamespot, being the douches that they are, gave it a 5.5, but I don't really listen to them. |

1000 points, is that $10? Yeah, I'd give it a twist for that. |

Others on here have said good things about it in this thread: http://gametz.com/?x&A=Forum&area=VideoGame_Discus...
I'd probably give it a try if I could get my Wii hooked up to the internet.

I haven't played it, but judging by user reviews LostWinds is the best WiiWare game out right now.

Not yet, I might get it at the end of the year. I'm hoping it'd be a little cheaper and by then maybe some more 3rd party companies will announce some more games that will use the balance board.

I bought LostWinds, but haven't played it yet; still playing Okami. My wife is like 10x better at Okami than me. I can make a circle or even a freaking slash to save my life. |

its an odd game. it either grabs you or it doesnt. i thought i would hate it but i ended up enjoying it for a couple of months. it also helps if you are playing it with multiple people. hopefully when AC is announced for the wii it will have a true integrated online experience with your friends and such...

Yeah, when it comes out for Wii I'll probably give it a try. My brother rented it when it first came out and I probably put 2 or 3 hours into it, but I just wasn't enjoying it. But I've always had this feeling that I was missing out. |

I played Animal Crossing (DS) for a month or two but never really enjoyed it... it was more of a compulsion. Playing it was almost always irritating, but I was motivated to pay off that damn loan. And, get new fruits in the mail. |

Animal Crossing for DS was a lot better at the time of the release... I'd open my gate and probably have a full town within like 2 minutes. Trading happened a lot more... The game isn't as fun without a lotta people. |

I tried to get my gate working, but it never seemed to work right. But, I played a while (year or more?) after the release. |

You hafta have friend codes... I think I had about 12 people from GameTZ (Sid, Renald, Colon, m, veln, etc)... There are other websites like Friendcodes.com where you can list when your gate is open, what items you are looking for and a buncha other crap.
I had to ban m from my town for writing a racist post on my bulletin, lol. |
