if i may ask, are you using cfw or ofw, did you make the pandora battery and mms, or did you buy it, the battery is is soft mod or hard mod, and if soft does it have the backup on it.

well pressing select at menue brings up a nice menu for quick changes (change umd mode, change usb device and some others) main use for custom firmware is creating or running homebrew, making and running backups etc....just depends on what you want to do....cant really list everything it is pretty much limitless....

The first thing you SHOULD have done before getting ANY custom firmware is google your own information. I don't want to sound like we're not here to help, but honestly I'm getting a little sick of the "TEACH ME EVERYTHING ABOUT CFW" users on this site.
There are hundreds of sites out there with tutorials, information, screenshots, etc. that you can look at. It's how I got all of my info. Then, if you have specific questions about something you're trying, come here and ask.
On top of that, we could spend the next YEAR telling you about CFW, and we still wouldn't be done. You need to figure out what you want to do (if it's possible), and then go do some reading.
It's near impossible for any of us to "help" when you just come in and say "OK, I gots th3 FIRMWARE - how does it work?!?!?!?!?!"

I agree. I learned everything before I got the firmware. I also learned on my own. It takes a lot longer for someone to explain it to ya. There is hundreds of different websites out there that give you info/accesorys. Here is my primary use for custom firmware.
Play games that I'm thinking about buying (Legal if you delete within 24 hours)
Play Emulators (EX GB, GBA, NES, SNES, Sega, N64, ect)
Play/make homebrew games (Some are actually fun!)
Use psp as a special device (EX Computer mouse, computer controller, remot control, ect) |
