No I play many games just for fun, and halo or COD aren't fun for me. I play Rainbow online almost every night for fun if you hadn't noticed Jin

I just woke up and I'll be doing 'married things' such as calling about pool liners, going to Bed Bath & Beyond, and maybe if I'm lucky, seeing a romantic comedy that's generically unfunny for the next few hours.

I have Perfect Dark running right now for a friend of mine, I'm not even playing. Hour of Victory blows but I was boosting the MP so yes that one wasn't for fun. Soldier of Fortune I kinda like and was playing that to finish the campaign. A few others my last 10 played games that I play for fun are Rainbow Six 2, The Godfather, Stranglehold and Tiger 08. Yes I do play some crappy games like Cars for achievements but those are usually quick games and the majority of my time is spent on fun games.

I used to get up at 1-2, now it's around 4-5. If you're game tonight, I can play some Army of Two around 12:30am or so. If not, tomorrow night around 10:30 should be perfect (or later, doesn't matter)

Gears is the most overrated game on the 360 IMO. Yeah, it's a good game, but I don't think it's near as good as most people do.

To me, Halo is a lot of fun with friends. Playing alone kinda sucks. CoD4 on the other hand is fun in both scenarios.

That's probably why. It came out in November 2006. Just imagine; none of these FPS games like Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 were out and nothing that was out at the time truly looked next-gen. Then BAM, Gears of War comes out, and it looks and feels truly next-gen. When I first turned it on and saw it (even on my SDTV) I stared with my mouth gaping wide open at the marvelousness of the graphics.
The campaign was great, being both fun and interesting and having some great boss fights. Having it being co-op online was even better, and only made the experience grander. It made me want to play it multiple times, something I cannot say for Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 (even with its online co-op). The controls were perfect and the cover system was (I don't know if I should say revolutionary, but I don't remember any other games like this before it that had it, and now all the games that are coming out seem to have it, albeit none are as good as Gears' was) an awesome addition to the game. The online was awesome as well, although not being as organized as Halo 2/3 as I was used to. It was still a blast to play, and I played it for months. I'm heavily anticipating the next in the series. |

seriously, I hate that too. I have this one friend who constantly looks at your screen, comes up behind you and rapes you... it go to the point that nobody would play Halo with him anymore. |

plus it doesn't help that I'm a horrible sore loser and anytime I can avoid getting pissed at friends is always something I try to avoid The only thing I don't get pissed about when the game 'cheats', is something like Super Smash Bros when it's kinda funny when you get blasted by a hammer and knocked halfway across the world. Halo, CoD, etc.? Never.

Ok, I am a terrible loser. I have a horrible attitude, especially when it comes ot CoD4. I find that half the time I am trying to mute myself because I don't want to be one of those annoying twats that complains all the time. I'm sure a lot of the time when I am getting mad it is when I am actually doing something stupid and I just don't want to admit it.
But, with the introduction of the kill cam, do any of you have times where you will get into it with a guy and maybe fire off like half a clip or something, but you still end up dieing, and then when you watch the kill cam it shows you not even shooting at all or something like that. I know it cant just be me, that must happen to others, its sooooo fudging annoying. |

I think Halo 2 is better than GoW, which obviously came out way before. Especially the online.
And the Vegas series easily has a better cover system (yes, I know you're going to say it copied Kill/switch, Smaug)

Yup, that's the worst part. Even worse is when it humbles the crap out of you to see that you messed up  Other than that, the worst thing about the killcam is the fact that it shows you're doing nothing wrong half of the time

Ya sometimes I'm unloading a full clip on a guy, with my red dot site right on the middle of his chest. Then when I'm dead and watching the killcam, it shows me shooting like waaay off to the left or right. Pisses me off cause I know i'm shooting him right on, on my end.
