Indeed. Must just be a coincidence that the Sega versions win 90% of the time!

This is definately one of my top 5 favorite Wii games so far. How far into it are you? I'm about 11 hours in and still only 25% complete according to the stats page on the pause menu. Have you done any of the "pimp my mansion" stuff yet?

I'm only like 2 hours in, I just started yesterday. I've just been movin' yay on the streets and getting my reputation up, trying to take over Little Havana.
I agree though, its definately one of my top 5. The remote is awesome for this type of game, way better then thumbsticks on a controller. It makes the shootouts a lot more fun. It also makes drive bys wayyy better. |

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition - 8.5/10 - I likes it. I would be playing it a lot more had I not beaten the game a bazillion times. Definitely the best version |

I'm nearing the end of God of War 2. I think my final score will probably be a 9. It's been a fantastic ride although I've encountered 2 game-ending fatal bugs that would have made me start over had I not kept more than one save file. Luckily I did. I'm suprised these showed up from such a high-end product. |

Ive played it three times and never had any problems, one of my friends said one of his saves got fudgeed up though.

Basically it's triggers not activating. So you kill everyone in the area and the blocked door doesn't unlock. Replaying the section from an earlier save triggered the event just fine. Not a big deal but it's happened more than once now. |

I'm playing through it again too and give it a 9/10. I love using the Wii controls and I'm anxious to play and see the rest of the PS2 additions because I haven't before.

Nintendo DS Web Browser 7/10
Pretty cool. I'm browsing GTZ with it right now, Its slow and a bit cumbersome compared to actually internetting on the computer. But, its a neat app nonetheless |

Do you know how it compares to the PSP's web browser?
|
Nick

| | #12 posted June 25, 2007 at 9:36pm (EST) |
I've only messed with the PSP browser a couple of times.
The PSP screen is clearly a lot better for reading and stuff, but the touch screen does help with clicking links and typing things out. I think I would overall prefer the DS browser, but they both have their ups and downs. |

Oh, and another thing I should mention that kind of sucks. The DS browser doesn't play video. So no youtubing or porn.
I don't know if the PSP browser plays video or not. It probably does. |

I think the PSP browser plays flash videos, but I think using the DS;s stylus to navigate sites is a lot better than the PSP's analog stick.

I rated the Turbo CD version highest... last I checked, Sega had nothing to do with the Turbografx.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams-8/10- About 3 hours in. Not real sure why companies find it necessary to "RPGify" every franchise, but I was content with just upgrading weapons. Honestly though, this game is only gonna get better it seems.

Virtuadept's Mini-Reviews - Renter Edition
Spectral Souls: Resurrection of the Ethereal Empires (PSP) - kind of a lame "tactics" rpg knock off. Unnecessarily complex. Lame story (so far). Boring characters. This was a rental and it's going back unfinished. 5.5/10
Fuzion Frenzy 2 (X360) - I got this to play a party game online. But the mini-games are lame. And online sucks because you got these idiots that play it 24-7 and they win every time in every mini-game. And its hard to find a game with just normal people in it that can all be competitive. I ended up sending it back (renter). 6/10
Touch Detective (NDS) - I feel embarrassed to admit that I rented this. It's completely gay. I think this one might be aimed at pre-teen girls. 4/10
Sonic the Hedgehog (X360) - wow, has sonic really gone this far downhill? lame story mode just serves to slow you down and annoy. And the controls suck? How can Sega not get the controls right? Bleh. 6/10
Legend of the Dragon (PS2) - for some reason i was expecting an RPG and what i get is some lame fighter using cell shaded cartoonish graphics with a tacked on "story mode" that is the rpg part. Crap. Avoid. 5/10
Medal of Honor: Vanguard (Wii) - finally a FPS game for the Wii that doesn't suck. This may look dated (PS2-quality graphics) but the controls are all new all Wii and work. This is a lot of fun, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes FPS and is looking for something to do on their Wii besides Zelda and SPM. 7.7/10
Nintendo DS Lite - Was forced into upgrading to this because my Phat got borked. There are plusses and a few minuses. Plus: The new brighter screens are really nice. Plus: The smaller, more pocket-friendly size is great. Plus: The thicker stylus is easier to use. PLus: The black one I got looks a lot sexier than the bright red Phat one I had before. I'll be less embarrassed to whip this out on the bus. Minus: A new plug for the wall charger means my Phat accessories won't work with it? Bleh. Minus: The D-Pad doesn't seem to be as good as the phat's. I'm finding that I have to press harder on it to make it work right, it's less sensitive. Minus: I don't like how GBA carts stick out the ass. I guess tho that's a sacrifice for being so small. So far I've only gotten in about an hour on this so maybe I'll grow to love it. (not scoring this, kind of stupid to).
Now Playing
Legend of Heroes (PSP) - fantastic old school RPG, I've already rated this before. It's kind of long so I'm still working on it and savoring it.
Final Fantasy III (NDS) - this one is so far not grabbing me like FF1 did for GBA. i feel like it punishes me for exploring or hell even just sticking to the plot. maybe i'm a pussy but it seems unforgiving and I've wiped several times already. be sure to save often...
World of Warcraft (PC) - best game ever made. if i won the lotto i'd quit my job and play this 24/7.

It's really quite remarkable how bad the Sonic franchise has gotten. I think the last good one was Sonic Adventure (DC). Since then it's been the same bad gameplay, broken camera, and frequent deaths each and every game. |

I remember you recommending I play this earlier (I haven't played much yet), but I heard from someone who used to work at Atlus that the translation is terrible. Are you of the notice that English is very bad in these game?
I think his example was "I didn't have eaten a unusual today." |

Transformer: Decepticon Version {DS} 7/10
I expected it to suck, but it is kinda decent. All the cutscenes have voice acting and there is some wi-fi modes where users with the Decepticon version go against users with the Autobots version. It is all played offline, then you go on wi-fi and upload your stats to the server. No crapty friend codes required. |

I think there have been 1 or 2 places where the English was more Engrish, But definitely not bad. At least, not so far. It's kind of hard to say how far along I'm in the game, I'd probably say I've spent close to 40 hours in it so far and am not to the end. But without knowing how many hours it is... I guess it could be the game has bad translation in the later parts of the game and I just haven't gotten to it yet. That's not to say that I haven't seen any errors, because there have been a couple, but in general the translation is pretty good.

This is such a great shooter. And such a great package deal (Bonk 1 & 2 and Bomberman are on the disc); I don't know why this didn't sell more Duos.
