it's a fantastic deal. the 20gb is fully BC and you can upgrade the HDD if you want to most 2.5" laptop HDD's. the only downside to the 20 is the lack of wifi and it lacks memory stick ports (like anyone cares). but to save $200 (off the full-featured 60gb) those are features i could live without probably.

i don't know about that, never tried it. it does have usb ports. you use the usb port to charge the Sixaxis, in fact. i've used it for that and for hooking up my PSP to it (for no good reason, it doesn't really do anything yet besides play a bunch of downloadable non-free PS1 games which I already own and could just rip).

I'm so jealous of you Admiral. I wish I could find a new PS3 for $300
I'm smart enough to know what I don't know

oh, you don't have a 360? well that should be your priority now over the PS3, imho. for one thing, the 360 has a much better library. for another thing, the games tend to be cheaper (not at launch but they drop in value quicker it seems). the one advantage that PS3 has is the blu-ray player so if you're into movies you may prefer it.

Heck, for $300, even I'd probably pick up the 20 gig PS3...

Wait for this Walmart "Secret Sale" thing going on this Black Friday. Last's Fri/Sat buy a 80GB PS3 (With Motorstorm) for $500 and 10 Free Blu-Ray DVDs instantly . Sounds decent to me, still also qualifies for the mail-in get 5 more BD's free as well. Granted the 80GB's only support the emulation thing (I was personally looking to pick up a 60GB), this is a pretty good deal. |

if you get to pick the 10 BD's that's an amazing deal at Wal-Mart. even if not it's still a pretty good deal. but yeah, the 20gb PS3 > the 80gb one.

Yea.
(Taken from CAG)
On 11/24 at 8:00am (running through 11:59pm on 11/25), the 80GB PS3 ($499) will come with 10 FREE Blu-ray movies instantly. You choose any 10 BD titles under $30 within the store and they will override the prices to zero. For those stores that carry BD already, additional titles are being sent in for the sale. For those that do not have BD in their store (a small minority) product will be sent to each store specifically for this sale.
Oh, and you still get your 5 FREE movies by mail.
Sounds good, i'll be trying to pick one up. |

damn. that's almost worth buying a PS3 just to resell it and keep the BD's (as a PS3 owner).

Pretty Much you fan use the Thumb Drive for your Save Files and stuff. When you put music and photos just make sure you put it in the correct folder or create one as it will not show up on the console if it's not in the correct folder.

I usually have to get the best when it comes to consoles, funny considering i never have any money, but anyway... that's why i wont get a PS3 until i can get a 60gb with the hardware B/C, def. the best PS3 version |
