I have so far completed 2 dungeons from Links Awakening.

I give it a 8.5/10. Its brilliant, of course. But for me personally, I'm finding aspects of it frustrating. For one thing I'm finding the game lacks personality, and that it also does so clumsy things, e.g. if you walk up to a rock and you don't have the equipment to lift it, it constantly tells you that you can't move it with your bare hands.

Clumsy design choices like this put it down some marks, as well as lack of personality (though its probable the personality will come later) the game has an excellent difficulty level I think.

Everyone hails this better as seasons and ages. I think this is certainly below ages and seasons. Those two games had more variety, and again, personality, and lacked the clumsy design choices. And it is to be expected, LA was made in 1993, a factor I was until now recently unaware of.

Link's Awakening (I played the DX version, but still the same game for the most part) is a treasure, a gosh darn treasure!

I have beaten Oot, OOS, OOA, Four Swords and Wind Waker. I am almost finished Twilight Princess and WILL beat it, and I have just started Links Awakening. I hope to eventually get onto Phantom Hourglass this year too (the year of Zelda!) I also started the Minish cap, but wasn't so fond of it, but didn't stop because of that, rather I got a dud ebay copy and it glitched.

I've beaten:

-Legend of Zelda
-Link's Awakening
-Link to the Past
-Oracle of Seasons
-Ocarina of Time
-Wind Waker
-Minish Cap
-Twilight Princess

Legend of Zelda 2 was too frustrating (quite about 1/2 way through) and I've never even played Majora's Mask. Also never played Phantom Hourglass due to not owning a DS. I think that covers everything. One of my favorite series!

I * love * the Zelda series but I've never beaten any of them. I've gotten to the final boss on several of them but just stop playing before I actually beat it. * frown *

Dead Head Fred {PSP} 8/10
I think this is my favorite PSP game I've played so far. I really wish it had come out on PS2 instead though, because this is yet another game that needs better camera angles and a second analog stick could have helped a lot.

An 8 is the best score for the psp, well their games do suck alot of ass most of the time, but im guessing GoW is going to kick ass instead, my favorite PSP game that ive played,(only about 5 since ive had it) would be VP:Lenneth and that was a remake

Lost Odyssey (360) 10/10. Man i love this game. Haven't been moved/touched by an rpg in a while. Just completed the 1st disc this morning and have enjoyed every min of it. Favorite part of game thus far is story about Kaim's past and regaining his memories. Be ready for emotional rollercoaster once your start playing. Well enough of that for now onto game itself. Game is pretty much an old school rpg with fresh coat of paint. Battle System is pretty basic, Attack, Magic, Defend nothing new to classic rpg formula. Music is well done and contains some excellent tracks , there is one theme that always comes up in sad parts that is very good (probably my favorite track so far). Will post rest of impressions later tonight heading to work * wry smile *

The "Alpha's Secret" thread applies only to X-Box 360 games though, doesn't it? I suppose if I did happen to purchase cheap 360 games, I could sell them for a sizable profit, except I don't work retail, and never have.

Crazy Taxi 2 - 9/10

I think I slightly prefer this to the first, unlike most people.

This is one series that I love, but I'm not disappointed that there's no sequel in development. Kind of weird, but, I think the series is good as-is and doesn't need anything further. Not that I wouldn't buy Crazy Taxi 4, but it's nowhere near the top of my sequel wish list.

After having a serious BLONDE moment, I figured out what to do in the boss battle that I was stuck on in TP. It didn't take too much thought either. If you take a break, you can always then figure out how to proceed! TP, once again stellar gameplay, a 9/10. Not much beats it in terms of polish, but the game lacks exploration.

I was versing Zane, and I was in the first dungeon room, the same one as the monkey/plant room, and the first time I tried to beat him I kept trying to deflect his magic. Then I figured out quickly into the 2nd one to try my boomerang like that actual fight- and ta-da! Worked like a charm. Obvious? I KNOW!

Warhawk- Finally got around to playing this yesterday. I played against my friend, and then we played online a bit. It's fun, although a bit too simplistic. Still, we had a great time playing it. It needs some sort of single player mode, though. 7.5/10

Christmas NiGHTS - 9.5/10

This game was bloody fantastic for a 2 level, 30 minute game. Christmas + NiGHTS is a better combination that I could possibly imagine and there's so much NiGHTS goodies in store that i'm going to keep playing it over and over until I unlock everything! NiGHTS is one of my favorite characters so i'll even appreciate art gallery stuff. Even the white case is awesome.
