I hope companies add it to older games pretty quick, great addition (trophies, that is). XMB is nice too, of course  .

yeah, i have a feeling there are going to be a lot of patches to download in the coming weeks for the trophies |

We're supposed to on a lot of games, it's just up to the makers to go back and patch them in.

Nope, not going to happen, they've already said it won't be possible/fair.

There are some older games that will support it, I believe resistance fall of man will.... here is an article stating that "Every game" will get a trophy update.

Better late then never, but I really don't care all that much about achievements or trophies.
XMB is nice, one of the main reasons it was released late IMO, is sony probably never thought to much about the feature and when they did they had to find a new way to deliver it as Microsoft holds a patent for how it delivers the same feature. |

This is wierd...I tried downloading it...and it failed midway through (probably because my wireless cuts out all the time). Now, when I try and perform a system update, it says my system is up to date, even though it says it currently has 2.36 on it.....What's happening here? |

Yeah apparently some people have been having issues with the patch so they took it down for now.

It did that with the other updates also. Just try again and it should work |

Somewhere someone mentioned something about in the early days of the 360 that people could somehow share save files/get achievements they didn't earn and supposedly that's Sony's reason for doing it(from what I've read at least). I think it's more of just laziness on the part of the developers though.
