Enjoying your job makes a HUGE difference.
I gave up management at the postal service earlier in the year, for the city carrier craft, but I haven't looked back. It's hell on my legs and my feet and, eventually, my back I'm sure, but once I'm out of the office, it's just me and the mail and a wee jeep, and I like the control, the lack of some fool lookin' over my shoulder, although they do exercise some serious control over the time allowed to deliver the mail. It can be grueling, depending on the weather and how much I'm walking/carrying, but still, I think my blood pressure has dropped 30 points. Seriously. It was borderline high late last year; I was in the doctor's office for bronchitis this morning, and my blood pressure was 122 over 80. I suppose walking 15 miles a day helps too--I might not be able to walk at all when I'm 60, but I'll have my heart .

Well, right now teaching would pay better. But, once I get Assistant Store Manager, I'll be paid more than if I was teaching.
I'd get about $35,000 to teach, and I'll get about $38,000 as an ASM. When/if I get Store Manager, I'll get $50,000-55,000.

MLB: The Show 08 - 9/10 - By far the best baseball game I've ever played. The A.I. is intelligent (most of the time), the graphics are beautiful and everything manages exactly how it should. Except for a few hiccups in collision detection (though it doesn't affect the game much), the game is damn near flawless.
oh...and FINALLY a sports game in which every week, yes, every week the rosters get updated with new players added in, players moving up and down through the team's farm system, injuries, trades, you name it.

A friend and I started playing some games lats night that we haven't in awhile. I forgot just how much fun Super Smash Bros. Brawl & Gears of War are! Granted, they are each one of my favorite games on their respective systems, but I had a blast playing them again. Gears is really sweet and I can't wait for Gears 2

Pure simulation. It's basically just a realistic baseball game that takes it's cue from from you would see exactly on TV with the camera angles and all.

NHL 09 Demo 9.0/10
Wow... This might be the first Hockey game I have to get on Launch and pay full price for. I loved how they changed up the controls for 07 and I was planing on getting 08 after 09 came out. But I might just skip 08 now and just get 09. I love how it controls (it seems a bit slower in the demo cause I can't change speeds) but it feel even more fluid. (Keep in mind I'm going based off 07 in comparisons as I never played 08)
I really like how it plays. It just feels so fluid. I also really am intrigued by the aspect of being one player on a team and you control just that player. You can go through the whole season I'm guessing like this. You control only your character. With the A.I controlling the rest of the team. It feels more personal this way. I think it's a nice new feature and when I get the game I plan on using it for sure. I am just wondering what happens with line changes. Even if I have to sit on the bench I'm hoping that is what they do. I actually want to experience the game from just one person. So when I'm not on the Ice I hope they let me see the action from the bench and not just make me be someone else. That would be so cool. I'll have to wait until someone gets the game I guess and ask before I purchase.
Like I said... usually I wait to get these games. I wait for a Price drop of around $39. Or so. But I might just have to get this one at full price... That is how much it impressed me! | DefaultGen

Disgaea 2 - 7.5/10 - Feels immensely less satisfying than Disgaea. It's the same great engine at the core, but without the awesome characters, the story, the quirky humor and even the level design of Disgaea, it's just a disappointment all around. Disgaea's ending felt epic. 2s ending felt like a stock RPG and was VERY abrupt! Really, I invested 15-20 hours into the game, so it's not a terrible game by any means, it just really should have been so much more.

I thought the demo was great too! If you still want NHL 08 though, I have one I'm probably going to be getting 09 on Monday, so I wouldn't need 08 anymore, if you're interested

Well If I am going to be getting 09 I probably wouldn't need 08...
But what would you want for it? Is it the 360 version?
Keep in mind I'm probably going to just go and get 09 so I don't really have much need for 08... unless your offering it for a deal to good to pass up...
