I wont get my copy until tomorrow, but for those that already have it, how is it so far, has anyone started a career yet? how is it compared to past fight night careers so far?

Career mode is actually pretty good. Training mini games blow though. It's actually more beneficial to auto-train and get 50% of the training value than to even play them sadly. The graphics are insane. The gameplay is good and the changes to it work well (haymakers toned down, counter punching and blocking is more important). To me, it's close with UFC 2009. * yes *

That sucks about the training games, they were also kinda weak in round 3 though too, I was really hoping they had improved a lot on those.

Yeah, I am not impressed with the training mini games, and the career mode setup is all wrong, two training sessions only for a 4 month fight, really, I only get to train twice in 4 months for a fight, It should be at least twice a month.

The demo, to me, just wasn't very satisfying after playing UFC Undisputed.

For me UFC got old real fast.
The career mode was way to shallow and quick, no depth, no real attachment to the process at all, you could play an entire career in 5 hours.
Although I did love the training and sparing setup, I wish FNR4 had a similar setup.

did you get f'd by auto training too? I made to the top 10, and realized everyone ahead of me was in the high 90's, and I am 74, lol, so I have been fighting guys ranked lower than me to get training in, which really pisses me off you can only get a max of 3, and that for a 9 month separation between fights, sometimes if your lucky and wait a full year you can get 4, but I have only seen it once.

only the first couple years, but I just got in the habit of doing it, once you get to about the late 60's to 70, it becomes much easier, and then when you hit the 88 mark it becomes much harder to get your stats up.
early on when your stats are in the 50's its really hard to get the speed and power noes done for the high stat boots, but I guess that makes it more realistic you have to work at it.
