Well actually it should be welcome to almost 5 years ago * raspberry *

WoW is still and hands down the best MMO going right now... been playing since launch! I love the game!

What class did you try? for many they really don't start to get good until you hit lvl 30 IMO..... Like most MMO's you can't really judge it until you start doing the high lvl stuff. I am really liking ULD right now! Now that I have my Shaman in pretty close to the best gear I can can get for him (still needs a slow offhand and a better cloak not to mention the lack of a Hit trinket is really holding me back) I am going to work on my Hunter! should be 80 tomorrow.

I good starting class would be a Hunter or Shaman they are the only one that In my experiece (everyone is different) that was fun from the moment I started it! This next patch will make lvling less of a chore also! Getting mounts at lvl 20 will REALLY help out! Back to the Shaman though, I have played this game since launch and the Shaman (enhance) was by far the most fun for me. In 2 months I hade it to lvl 70 (before lich) wich was no small task since I was a hardcore raider... but lvling just happend so fast!

Druid - They don't really get good until you get cat form (this next patch will help also as they get a really good feral glyph)
Warlock - Could never get one past lvl 15 until I did the recruit a friend... so I would imagine it be like the Druid its good but really boring at first! But are probably the most OP class to lvl! I love it * raspberry *
Mage - Pretty fun. lvl'd 2 to 60 pre-BC... but have grown tired of them and my old main still sits at 71, and my first mage has been 61 for a long time * raspberry *
Hunter - pretty fun to lvl, but got REALLY fun when I hit lvl 35 and had Beast Mastery! I chewed up other alliance good times!
Warrior - Not my thing, mine has been sitting at lvl 47 for a few years but can't bring myself to delete it.
Paladin - Have not played.. don't intend to.
Priest - kinda boring to lvl, but rock end game PVP!
Shaman - Really fun! Enhance is the way to go... for lvling... pvp is kinda broken for them now so its either resto or Elemental (caster DPS)
Death Knight - kinda moot since you need a lvl 60 on the server to be able to get one.

So it really depends what your style is not only that what class you started with hell even the faction! I found Alliance sooooo boring! Could never lvl alts! But who knows maybe WoW is simply not for you.....

Been playing EvE online (14 day trial) and that game really neat! I love how its setup! It's probably as close to a virtual world as you can find in a MMO right now!

I played the week trial, couldn't get off the game. Didn't subscribe though because my computer sucks.

Got tired of Final Fantasy XI.
Played the World of Warcraft trial for ten days.
Started playing FFXI again.

Its really to bad they could not allow you to try a lvl 80 or something for the trail... because You cannot really grasp how the game plays with a trial account...The game plays sooo diifferent from pre-BC (lvling) to what we have now.... You really can't get a good feeling for the game.

I was soooo die hard into Diablo II back in the day and was really excitede for the WoW Beta, signed up right away and they didn't select me, so I said fudge it and never even tried the game out. I'm so glad they didn't choose me because I know that game would have sucked me right in and I would never have quit, it took me going to college and selling off all of my gear for $600+ to get me off of Diablo II.

 * laughing out loud * yah. I was dead set against MMO's but some friends told me to get Lineage II so I did, no sooner did I install the fudging thing and they said they would be switching to WoW the next month when it was released, I was pissed! But I never really enjoyed Lineage II... I was pissed at the money I dropped on the game.....
