Comes out in a week and it looks AWESOME. Can't wait for it.
4 distinct charachter types with unique skills and abilities.
Game has thousands of different weapons with abilities like incendiary bullets, elec bullets, turrets, grenades, rockets.
4 Player Coop is a major +.

I'll be getting this on the PS3. I am very excited about this one, I feel with all of the awesome games coming out this one will truly be a diamond in the rough. |

I'm getting it on the PS3 most likely - just because i currently need to get an adapter for my 360. Upgraded my home wireless and my existing wireless adapter doesn't support new encryption.

I was all excited about it when I first heard of it and saw the first co-op video. But then they decided to do the cel-shading thing and make it more of a cartoon, and I just lost interest. Disappointing, although at least that's one less game to worry about. |

I actually like the cel shading. It's not cartoony at all like Wind Waker was. It's more of a gritty cell shaded adventure

its not as bad as I thought it was going to be, its kinda nice cell shaded like the new PoP game, where it almost looks like a painting and not a cartoon.
I have it pre ordered, have for over a year. I just wish they would have stuck with the original graphic design.

Yeah, except it worked in PoP. In this it's just ridiculous.
And yeah, the original was SO MUCH better, I don't know why they changed it. I really don't.
EDIT: I just ordered it from BB with the B2G1 deal. Hey, it's free when I sell the other 2. So I might end up loving it, just like I figured I would end up doing. If not, I can always just sell it I guess. Like getting paid for a rental. |

We already have another game coming out that looks like Fallout, it is called Rage. At least give Borderlands credit for looking different.

Personally I like the art style. If they released it with more modern graphics it would be another fallout clone. This cell shading is grittier and more realistic then what we normally see and looks VERY cool.

I'm guessing they changed to cell shaded character models to save money. The backgrounds look decent but the character models look retarded. |

I believe I actually read somewhere that the official reason for the change was to separate it from Fallout 3. Doesn't bother me, I love cel shading.

Going to have to wait til reviews come out on this one......but buying a videogame RIGHT NOW almost seems pointless....as we are still trying to beat Demon's souls and then Forza 3 in a couple weeks...and then MW2....pshhh |

I think I may have to get this for 360 and then get Uncharted 2 for PS3. The MAG beta isn't exciting at all and I now have only Demon's Souls to keep interest.

im definitely getting this game. I liked the graphics it had originally had, reminded me alot of Mass Effect to as where it now reminds me more of XIII for the xbox. Still though, I think the game play looks awesome so Im still getting it.

I've wanted a new 'Brute Force' for a while now because I love 4 player co-op games that were made for that awesomeness. So I'm hoping it does well in the co-op aspect, which I believe it will.

I actually want Borderlands to do really well because I hope it will mean more money for Gearbox and in turn they can make a new Brothers In Arms game that doesn't blow like the last one. Of course this is just a theory. We'll see what winds up happening.

I personally love games with crazy loot systems and with their weapon generation engine with thousands of weapons and 4 distinct classes to play as this seems like a perfect fit.

I really don't know how many weapons aside from a TON. I actually do love that. Your always finding something new to fool around with. Like a shotgun that fires out taser darts that can cause elec to arc between enemies.
