So I've never played a Bioware title, this looks like it is going to be pretty good. Should I pick it up?

I never really liked the text driven RPGs bioware made, but I'm enthralled by this one, maybe it'll win me over. |

You have plenty of time to play Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, and KOTOR then play Dragon Age when it's cheap. All their games are excellent.

Me too! I saw a trailer for it a few months ago, it had "This is the New Crap" playing during it. It looked great and has been near the top of my Gamefly Q since then (it is at the very top now of course).
I've had Mass Effect for almost 2 years now but I've still never opened it, so Dragon Age will be their first game I play.
edit: Actually I did play the Sonic rpg they did on DS. It was decent, but I'm expecting much more from this. |

I bought this over boarderlands and Forza 3, two games that I've really wanted for a very very long time now. What attracted me to it was the fact that it was made by Bioware, i'll buy just about anything they make. They also made the MDK and MDK2 if anyone has ever played either of those two. MDK 2 is still the best 3rd person shooter IMO.

That was my first thought as well. I ignored the comment, though, just because it seemed so silly .

Play Sonic Chronicles. Hope life is good.
I'm kinda wanting to play Dragon Age, buuuuuuut... gonna need a console. |

Sonic Chronicles is the only good Sonic game in years .
I'd suggest Dragon Age on a PC, I've read the console version isn't as good.
Hope all is well, yo!

Congrats to Guru and Neko |

no, I have played for a little over 3 hours now, and the longest load time I have had is 15-20 10-15 seconds, and that is to load an entire area.

I've read that some are having really long load times. Most I've had is 30 or 40 secs, and that's the initial load after first starting the game up. After that, it's a good bit faster. Depends on the size of the area too.

Two things...
1. NEGGED!
2. I think the first guy that tried to have sex with neko is probably still digging through the rolls that cover it. |

How is it, seems like the console versions aren't nearly as polished. |
oulzac

from everything I have read, the PS3 version seems to be the most flawed at the moment. Graphic glitches and freezing seem to be the most common.

i have the 360 version and the only thing i heard about that version in general was the textures were not good and colors look washed out and honestly it really isn't noticible and i thinkit looks great, but console versions in general do seem to have bugs like getting stuck or having people talk to you and they are halfway through the flor of the game or your character constantly moving like he is in combat and drops taking a while to spawn after killing the enemies. |
