On my game of the year edition i downloaded the content and everything but it still wont mark on the map where shivering isles is supposed to be. I even looked up on the internet the location of it and i went to that spot and there was nothing there. So can anyone help me with this problem?
Also i need help beating the quest Canvas the Castle i cant find out who took the painting. |

How long have you been playing? You usually have to play a day or two then a new quest will be added to your journal I think.
For Canvas the Castle, I had a hard time with that too. Because I didn't have internet then, it took me hours to finally find it. Search youtube for a guide. Or:

Ive been playing for 70 or some odd days and it still hasnt come up. I think the problem might be that i started playing it without the downloaded content at first and then after playing for a while i downloaded it. |

Check your journal, see if you have a quest called "Strange Door" or something like that. |

Someone on Yahoo Answers says to go to NPCs and ask them about "rumors". |

I d/l'd the content after playing the game quite a bit and it automatically added the quest to my journal. Are you certain you just didn't see the quest? |

The painting one is fishy. The first time I played it, I had no problem, but the second time through... gameFAQs to the rescue.
As for the DLC/Expansions.... I would thing you actually have to run the expansion executable (.exe file) instead of the normal oblivion shortcut, but since I don't have it, I dunno. Maybe it just patches the original? |

im sure i looked through my quests many times and i asked people about rumors but no one mentions anything about it. There must be something wrong with the game. i have added the content three times. |

there is a shrine of daedra thats says i need to become repulsive does anyone have any idea what that means?
I already tried to become a vampire and become repulsive but that didnt work. |

personality score of 20 to get this quest.

google.com (I actually found that gamefaqs guide above using google, searching for -Shrine of Daedra Repulsive-)
You'll find your answers quicker than waiting for someone to post here. About Shivering Isles; are you connected to Xbox Live (Gold or Silver member)? If not, try to connect your Xbox to XBL and get the update for the game (just start the game up and it will do it automatically). If the quest doesn't appear, reinstall Shivering Isles and wait 24 in-game hours and maybe talk to people about rumors. |

Ok how do i get my personality to go down in the game? potions?
and i dont have xbox live and i reinstalled the game three times. I think it might be that i played the game and already had a file from regular oblivion and loaded that one and played it for awhile and then i downloaded the game. |

What kind of connection do you have? Can you take your Xbox to your computer and put the Ethernet cable in your Xbox for a few minutes so you can connect to Xbox Live?
Google can help with your personality question. I searched Oblivion Lower Personality and saw some helpful looking results. |

If the disc works in the first place there is about a one in a trillion chance that your disc has a weird issue. It's probably some weird download thing or glitch.

Putting Oblivion Black Soul Gems into google didn't work for you? It works every time for me, lots of relevant results. |

I thought you were getting slightly smarter, correctly spelling every word in the sentence, even capitalizing "Oblivion," but then I noticed not one, but two question marks in a sentence that should not have a single question mark.

Sure they do.
Next time you're using the ol' BBQ for some burgs or steaks or whatever.... slice up a few zucchini or peppers. Q 'em for 5 mins or so on high to soften em a bit and put some grill marks on them. Then get a bowl, put a dab of olive oil, and some Balsalmic vinagrette salad drsg.... mix it up and put it on the vegetables, and VOILA !!
