I can't wait for this game really! I loved the first one. The PS3 is getting a timed exclusive beta on the 19th and the PC gets one in late December with the 360 to follow sometime in the new year! One thing I would really like though is split screen multiplayer...

Something up their sleeve like maybe Vehicles, Actual teamwork, Destructable environments and no glitched controls because all guns have recoil... Yeah they better have something up their sleeves!

I started playing online in 2004 I think and to this day haven't played a game that people actually used teamwork in, despite the need for it. I'll be impressed if BFBC2 pulls that off.
But either way, I'm still psyched about it, it looks really good. I didn't play the first but I was addicted to BF2 Modern Combat. |

Their vehicle controls are lackluster unless you are on a pc, and the bad thing about destructible environments is after a minute or 2 all the buildings are destroyed and it is basically a vehicle war, the last games had a good amount of pain in the ass glitches, the graphics sucked for bad company and you cannot prone, their games tend to get very laggy on consoles, their weapon damage is a joke and never seems to be standard (ie i kill a guy with two shots from my rifle, the next time it is 8 and the time after that it is 3 and the time after that it is 5). Also how is CoD's gun recoil bad?, i have shot an m4 and it is about the same in the game, same with a m1911 pistol, a mossin, and a DE. |

I probably will at least rent this by the way because it is nice to take a break from some games. |

Well everytime I played BF I was always playing against another clan so alot of people did use alot of teamwork. Funny every time I played this game my damage from my bullets was the same, and nothing was ever laggy but maybe the 2 games out of 1,000 I played. You want to talk about lag (COD) I never got disconnected from a Battlefield game unlike 900 times on COD. Recoil and Bullet drop are 2 things COD needs to work on.. If you can unload a whole clip on me with a "cheater button" and still hit me then there isnt enough recoil. I love both games and both had Pros and Cons and I will be buying both. already started playing Modern Warfare 2 today and it is great, way up from the previous.

I don't think Bad Company 2 has to worry much about MWF2... play styles are different. Bad Company 2 will do just fine. |

Leave the motors for racing, you haven't played a skilled team on COD4, play Gears of War, and understated recoil is better than over recoil. |

Exactly. Let's be honest, there are way more fans of COD, but that in no way means BF will have bad sales. By the time BFBC2 comes out, some people will be getting bored with MW2 or just want a change of pace anyway. |

In fairness 99% of public games in any game (COD or not) on XBL rarely have any teamwork. |

Agreed people just run and gun and get owned all the time even though some know they shouldn't be doing that. |

Same on PS3..the only thing people care about is points. I've been teamkilled before just so some douchebag could get a kill. His defense for doing so: "Look who's on top" (game stats). |

Makes me think of something funny from COD4 the other night. Both my primary gun and my pistol needed to be reloaded. Just as I was doing that, a guy runs at me like an idiot with the knife. I of course can't shoot him since both guns are dry. After dodging his crap for what seemed like forever, I finally just knifed him rather than trying to reload. I get a message from him because I took so long to kill him, he was the better player... even though he was the one that died. Some people just have weirdly skewed logic while playing games sometimes.

I get disconnected from COD every game and it either waits 30 seconds to connect me again or just boots me from the match. Also every single time I look it is 3 out of 4 bars |

Dedicated servers, mapping and modding community. I know lots of PC gamers looking forward to it instead of MW2 for online

 DICE. They're one of the few devs that actually still care about PC gaming. BC2 may be something I pick up as a third multiplayer game.
