quality is based on internet connection. it runs a test before it starts the movie to decide quality. HD stuff is available. I am pretty sure that everything available for instant watch can be viewed on the xbox. Also there is no longer a need to create an instant queue. There was an update which made it possible to look at everything they have to offer. |

How do I look at everything they have to offer? I still have to put stuff in the queue. I only get 50 in each genre.

Yeah, I thought the 360 interface only showed 50-100 in each category.

is it really only 50 in each genre? I swear it seems like a lot more than that when my gf is going through the movies trying to find something to watch. sorry guys, I thought they had everything available to look at on the xbox. |

yeah, but what's available in instant watch? Could I be watching a new release like GI Joe or something right now? or does it take a while to release?

It's whatever's on the Netflix streaming service. From the console it's usually second-rate movies (You won't find The Dark Knight or Lord of the Rings) but you can add just about anything to your instant queue from the internet (and watch it on your 360).
I don't know how new the releases are, I generally see newer stuff in theaters

The quality of the picture is actually pretty good. What's available is yes whatever is on NetFlix's insant service. |

New releases like GI Joe are first available only on dvd/bd, not online streaming. I don't know how long they take to put it on instant streaming.
