Hey there, I'm 2A03 and I'm a big classic game collector. My collection spans from systems as old as the Atari 2600 to the Switch. I mainly go by ApolloBoy on other sites, such as AtariAge or Digital Press, and I'm an established trader on both sites. As of now, I'm only interested in buying and selling games, though I will go for a trade if it involves something I want and is fair.
For what I'm interested in, I usually go for Famicom, Japanese Sega Mega Drive, and Sega Mark III (Japanese SMS) games. For cartridges, I prefer them loose and in good condition (i.e. no significant scratches or label defects), although boxed cartridges are good too. I just prefer loose carts because the boxes take up so much space. However, in the case of Japanese Mega Drive, SMS and Genesis carts, I greatly prefer they be complete (game, manual and box).
For trading, the rules are pretty simple; if you have a higher rating, I will send first, and you will send first if I have more trades. When I'm buying, I always send first, no matter the ratings for each side. When I sell, you will pay me first.
I always try to get my items out within a week and I will always ensure that they're well-packaged and ready to go. I send loose cartridge-based games and games that come with a rigid plastic box (such as Genesis or PS2 games) in a bubble mailer, while games with a cardboard box will be sent in an outer box. Games that have a jewel case will be sent in a bubble mailer while sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard for protection. If you have an issue with my shipping methods, let me know and I will send your game(s) in the packaging method of your choice. I will never ship a game in a cardboard box in a bubble mailer, and I suggest you do the same. Me getting a smooshed box in a bubble mailer won't exactly do wonders for your ratings.
I'm also honest about the condition of my games, and I will describe any significant faults (i.e. label tears, mottling) in the comment section. I also ask that you do the same, since I don't like getting games that aren't in the condition described. Also, if you are going to decline an offer or cancel a trade with me, please state exactly why you did instead of declining/canceling it for no real reason. It really annoys me when people decline an offer without reason or don't elaborate why.I do not accept cash, checks, or money orders for payment (except if I'm selling for someone else), only PayPal or Venmo. I've had trouble with these types of payments before and I don't want to deal with them again.
