Comment (last update: 30-Apr-2006 5:24pm) I have always looked back at the caveman era with a hint of jealousy. They may have been dirty and stupid, but they knew how to barter. With this new-fangled currency floating around, people somehow got it in their heads that they can receive food and entertainment by merely slipping a few pieces of paper in to greased palms. I may not be dirty and stupid, but I do wish to continue the caveman way of bartering. So please, offer me a trade for games on my want list and not cash.
By the way, I have no problem trading with those who have a BTR just as long as you send first. You can see my rating - which is nearly perfect - there is no reason to doubt my honesty. If you have a BTR, rather it is cleared up or not, you will send first. I only trade for American games unless such a version does not actually exist. Also, aside from games on the GBA, I only trade for complete titles and no Greatest Hits. More than likely, I do not care if a game is in excellent condition or unopened. Since I trade to play, a game with no flaws is worth the same as one that is still shrink wrapped. Please do not make me offers that force me to come up with a monetary price for the game in question. Even worse is when I get "CML" messages. First of all, I do not sell games. I'm in this to build my collection, not make a profit. Second of all, CML is just a depressing acronym. Since when does "C" stand for "See?" Ugh... if you see something on my list you want and there are games on your available list you're willing to trade, email an offer. If not, there's a good chance this trade is not destined to happen. One more thing (for now), I prefer doing trades in which the games in question are worth more than mailing them will cost. For instance, Sands of Time is on my list. I can buy this in a store for $5. There's no reason for me to spend $2 on shipping and give up one of my own titles just for a $5 game. | ||
