Details on the exact dates are a bit fuzzy, but it was sometime in late 1998 or early 1999.

Essentially, we agreed to trade my Virtual Boy for his Contra Hard Corps plus $15.

Virtual Boys at the time were being clearanced for $30 at places like best buy and EB so I figured it was a fair trade.

Well we both said we sent, and he got my stuff in a couple days and thanked me. After a week had gone by without me receiving anything I contacted him to let him know his stuff hadn't arrived and asked if he had a delivery confirmation number or something.

He said he had no DC, but to give it a few more days, and he'd send another copy of the game if I didn't get it. This set off some red flags, right there, but as he already had my stuff there wasn't really anything I could do.

Anyway, after a few more days I reminded him and he said he'd send another copy of the game out. Never heard from him again - he stopped responding to my emails and that was that.

He was a kid at the time, so I couldn't pursue any legal action. Anyway, you probably already know this from the other BTRs that have been filed on this guy, but it's probably a bad idea to trade with him.

A word to the wise - he may currently be living in Simi Valley. A myspace search for "Brad Lowenberg" turned up just one result... http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=us...

He's about the right age, and Simi Valley isn't such a stretch for someone like him.

On April 16, 2003, Brandon and I compossed a trade of my $5 for his Kirby 64, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, and The Legend of Zelda: DX (all boxes and manuals only, no games). I sent the money out that week and awaited for the boxes/manuals to come. About a month passes by and the items did not arrive yet. I e-mailed Brandon and received the answer that he sent out the boxes/manuals a couple days ago. Again, I waited for the items to come. However, nothing arrived so I e-mailed Brandon once again receiving an answer that he has extras of those manuals/boxes and that he will send them to me as soon as possible and will let me know within a week. With no replys from him as the weeks progressed by, I e-mailed him yet again and received no replies from him.

Brandon, please send the boxes and manual (you said it yourself that you had extras, so what would be so hard about that?) or my money back. I did not want to post a BTR on you, but your lack of communication as well as promise led me to do this.

The deal was $8 for a complete near mint copy of BMX XXX for Gamecube. It was the 16th of June. I sent payment via paypal. I have the receipt and emails I can forward to Bill if need be. Anyhow he was very polite when speaking to me and said everything would be handled and then he stopped answering me. I don't like having to post a BTR but hopefully this will get something done. $8 may not seem like alot but when you have a 9month old baby $8 is $8 that you could have put into doing something else. I don't have money to throw around. Brad hopefully this can be taken care of and when it is I will remove this.

UPDATE August 17, 2003.
He responded right after I first posted the BTR saying I'd get my money back. Then hasn't responded since. I've emailed him about 4 or 5 times since and he hasn't replied. I don't like having to do this but I also don't like being ripped. Brad you're being very inconsiderate and immature. You need to grow up, fess up, and take care of the problems you've gotten yourself into.

On June 15, 2003, Me and Gizmodvd agreed on a trade of my shenmue II (Xbox) and $5 paypal, for his sega nomad battery pack. I sent first because he had more trades. A couple days later, I received an email from GameTZ about having a pending trade with a person with a BTR. I didn't wan to jump to cnclusions so I emailed him and told him that if he dares to rip me off, he is done on the site. Then he emails me back and just cusses me out. Then the next day I get an email from him, it was a different address, and it was a virus. The butt munch didn't realize that hotmail scans all outgoing attachments for viruses before they are sent, so I got an email from hotmail saying that an email with a virus has been sent to you, blah blah blah. So I email him on that, he said his computer is infected with a virus and is sending them to people on his email list. Yeah right. Well now he has like 3 BTRs. And I am going to contact the Moorpark Police on this. I am also filing mail fraud. I am also mentioning the other victims of this person in the police and mail reports.

Brad and I pended a trade on april 14 2003 for a $15 money order from me and B/M's for GB pokemon red and donkey kong land, GBA super mario world 2, SNES super mario world and super mario kart.....15 GB plastic cases from him.

Since he had a high star at the time we were going to send same time.

He received his end then several weeks later I emailed him to see why I had not gotten my end yet. I emailed him several times and even posted in some of his forum posts. He finally got back to me and said that he had shipped the package by ups. I asked for the tracking number. He wrote back saying he confused mine with another and that he hadn't sent but would do so soon.

I waited again for awhile then started emailing him again getting no response until the threat of a BTR was made. He then checked again and said he had not sent out and that he would do so that day and even include some extra items for my trouble. I emailed him back saying alright but to please send me the tracking number right away. I never got a response back. Now I see Brad has gotten 2 BTR's in the last few days and I tried to instant message him on AIM and got no response as well.

Brad please send me the package as promised or my money back and I will gladly remove this BTR. If it is already sent please send me the tracking number.

We agreed on a trade June 5 of this year. I know its only been 3 weeks but this is the only way I feel I can get through to him. Please send back Castlevania Symphony of the Night or send out Final Fantasy Anthology. You have taken advantage of me and that is unacceptable. I will glady take this BTR down when I recieve either one of those.

Update:
He told me he confused mine with another trader from a different site.
Seems funny how he could do this to me and Toadreaper...

2nd Update: I finally recieved the game...however it did not include the instructions like he had promised before the trade was pended...This BTR will not come down until those arrive...I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous
