Comment (last update: 11-Sep-2007 10:46pm) MY XBOX Live Gamertag is:
*JimiMack650* I'm a game player, NOT a collector. As long as you're in the ballpark and come up with something that is not too one sided, I'll consider. But please don't insult my intelligence! Effective Immediately: I will NOT be shipping Priority Mail anymore, nor do I expect those whom I trade with to ship Priority Mail either. Unless we agree upon otherwise, First Class Mail is just fine. I've noticed a package I received last week was over $10 for a couple of guides. Ridiculous!!! First class or just "regular" mail may be a couple of more days in receiving but save your money for other things, like more games!!! Actually, I've received "First Class" mail in the same time as "Priority", so go figure! And save MONEY!!! The price of a HALF gallon of milk here in Northern California is over $3.50...we need to cut corners wherever we can. I will however always use "Delivery Confirmation", and that option is up to you, but I would highly recommend using it every time. If I never did receive a package I wouldn't want someone accusing me of stealing. As all who've done deals with me know, "I am not a crook!" Being here for this short time, I've learned some things about the habits of other traders. Here are some of the reasons why I might turn down an offer: If you can't get to the post office in a few days, that's fine, I sometimes can't get out of work to get there, so I understand. Just don't expect me (or anyone else here) to make them wait a week until you can get there. I'm not being hard to deal with, I just want to get on with trades without all of the added B.S. So most of my trades have been great, I'm just tired of all the excuses. Yep, I'm probably one of the oldest traders here. I've been playing video games since I was a kid, back in the 70's. I've gone from "Pong" to "Half-Life 2"...what a life, huh? I'm also a family man with adult children now and I have more time to spend playing games. Yes, I do work and have a life, plus I get plenty of exercise....KIDS, remember to get some exercise, don't let the arteries harden just sitting there....get 20-30 minutes a day, then you can play. I don't watch normal television, but use the TV to watch DVDs and play games. I was robbed a few years back by mail, so I'm going to be a little cautious here. I'm open for suggestions when it comes to trading. just be realistic. What is fair to me? Just ask yourself if "YOU" think it's a fair trade. All of the games I'm asking for, I really want to play, so just make me an offer. This is all new to me, and I had no idea there was anything like this. I've been getting little for my trade-ins at EBGames or Gamestop, so now maybe I can get some fair trades. I hope this is a good experience, and I hope to get a list up quick. | ||
