We started our trade over 6 months ago (Im REAL Paticent) over a NES package deal. He was sending Rockman & Forte and Langrisser Millennium. I was sending The nes package. he sent 1st I recived it but when i went to send it off the package was $90 i only had 70$. So I e-mailed him telling him I couldnt send for a week (Also a family tragedy happened). so then he makes another deal I had to send him breath of fire 4, ghen wars,Final fantasy 2, and some other stuff for Drcula x, King of fighters advance,and some wonderswan color games. So instead of sending as on whole I split the package in 2 (the NES by itself and the games) he told me that we were gonna take turns sending il send the package w/ the games 1st he'll send me his games, then ill send him the NES So I sent off all the games he recived them and he says " Wheres the NES" I said "I thought we were taking turns"But then he said he sent the packages (this is April 17th) So Trustingly I sent the NES. I asked on April 29th quote "I havent heard from u lately. Is everything OK? I didnt get the games yet what kind of mail did u use?" he said "the same mail I always use" so I wait for 2 weeks. He still hasnt recived anything. THEN OUT OF NO WHERE he doesnt answer his e-mails. Then a while later his e-mail doesnt even work. So I leave a message in BOLD LETTERS for him to e-mail me. I talked to Endrium to ask about his address but he didnt know either. DAVID PLEASE E_MAIL ME SO WE CAN TALK ABOUT THIS I DONT THINK YOU A BAD PERSON BUT PLEASE E-MAIL ME

By reading the Bad Trade Reports on this guy and seeing where he lives (England and in Sussex County), I have concluded that this person, David Jones, is the same person as Lyle Itack. According to the BTRs on David's Bios page, traders would send first, and David would receive it. David would then SAY he sent his items, but the items were then returned to him (David) because "nobody was present to sign for the package". This person, David, is the same as Lyle Itack because Lyle did the same thing to me; he mentioned that he sent the item, but were received again because I was not present to "sign for the item", although I was always home waiting for his end of the bargain. Therefore, writing this BTR on David Jones is basically writing one for Lyle Itack because they are the same person using different identities to rip off GameTZ traders.

In addition, when requesting Delivery Confirmation Numbers/Tracking numbers, David/Lyle would either ignore the trader totally and not provide one or provide a fake one just to deceive and make the trader feel secure about the trade. Thus, this BTR has to be written to ensure the safety of other GameTZ traders.

What's very interesting is that when Endrium, like myself, knew he was ripped, he said that he would expose David Jones. But then David Jones blackmailed him and the rest of the traders with whom David traded. David did not want the truth to get out and therefore, threatened Endrium by saying "he won't send the items to him or the other traders". THe same thing happened to me; Lyle/David did the same thing when I posted a BTR and demanded a refund or my items of which none of the two were ever received. Thus, this BTR must stay.

Well, I guess everything that happended to me is reported in the other btr's.
Agreed on a trade in March. Agreed to send at same time using tracking numbers. My stuff arrived after a few weeks while i still wait for mine.
David didn't want to send any proof that he sent the games and doesn't reply to mails anymore.
The pendinge trade got deleted by the sysmtem since 90 days were over and Mr. Jones never felt to complete the trade from his side.......which gave me the first bad feeling.
So try to avoid this guy as long as there are this many BTRs...

Mailed in some infos to the sussex police like suggested by endrium and also will get in contact with the local police.....sorry David, if you're trying things i won't take it that easily.

Well, if I get my money (EUR 500,-) or get my games back i'll remove this btr but i guess that won't happen without any legal forces.

Well, we agreed to send at the same time on the 29th of march. I sent 12 games which was Terranigma, Ogre Battle Gaiden, Thunderforce II, Lunar: SSSC, Lunar 2: EB, Ghost in the shell, Front Mission 3, Guilty Gear, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Parasite eve, Vagrant story and Vagrant story(import) to him with delivery confirmation. It costs me 30-40USD to send it. It's been like 2 months since I've sent the stuff and nothing from him has arrived since.

What was really wierd was that he sent all the stuff in 2 seperate packages. He said he included both delivery confirmation and insurance. 2 weeks later after he said he sent the stuff he said he got the items returned. He said that both packages didn't have any signatures. Well, if my parents were at home, the postman would have left it in the post office for me to claim the package. He claimed to send it the second time in one whole package and still, nothing has arrived since.

I sent the stuff through air mail, but he said he still haven't received the package yet. However I checked the PO too see if it had arrived and it was confirmed. This guy is obviously lying to me, as well to most of the other traders who have been ripped.

Now he said that he's on a holiday, I bet it really means that he's abondoned this account. I will remove this when I have received his items or the stuff I have sent.

Wow, I'm obviously not alone. I think Mr. Pengo bit off more than he could chew with all the trades he's attempted but mis-managed.

According to his e-mails to me, David sent my package on March 26 and it has not arrived after 6+ weeks. He has Legend of Mana, Saga Frontier, and $100 from me, and I have not received anything. Fortunately, the other games I sent him were returned to me because David refused to pay a customs fee. The transaction has costed me $60 in shipping costs plus the $100 and value of the two Playstation games and I have nothing to show for it. David said 10 days ago that he would check with royal mail to track the package, and I have not heard from him since. His e-mail box has been full for the past week.

If Dave can get me my package containing the three rare Saturn games as agreed, I'll gladly remove the Bad Trader Report and mail the second box of games (Shining Force III, etc.). Please e-mail me with a detailed status of the delivery and fix this mess!

If anyone out there has an alternate e-mail address for this trader, please let me know. The lack of communication is very frustrating. Thanks!

UPDATE - 7/27/02
Needless to say, I'm still without my games, or any form of compensation or communication for that matter. THIS GUY IS A TOTAL CON ARTIST. YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS ONE DAY "DAVE". It's people like you who spoil GameTZ for the rest of us. If the law doesn't give you what you deserve, God will, Moron!

Well I won't go into the details of our trade (you can see that on his trades page). But it's been months and I'm missing $500 worth of stuff. :(
I'm just submitting this BTR because his mailbox is now full (probably because of all the traders) and I can't get an email through.
So David, can you PLEASE email me as soon as you get back from holidays. I will remove this report when you do OR if I get my stuff by then.
Hopefully there has been a huge delay with the mail or something. That is getting less likely though.
I'm in the process of tracking my parcel...

Okay I got a trace done and the parcel was received about 2 weeks after I sent it. I am going to file a complaint with the police and hopefully this guy will get what he has coming to him.

We agreed to a trade in late March! I would send... Legend of Mana, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Suikoden 2, Echo Night (all US Playstation), Koudelka, Granstream Saga, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Fear Effect, Overblood (all UK Playstation) and Chrono Trigger Soundtrack for... Wonderswan Color Final Fantasy II Box Set, Final Fantasy I, Romancing Saga and Ultraman (all WSC)!

We agreed to send at the same time (although I have more trades than him). However, I asked that we both send recorded delivery so if anything goes wrong we can track the packages... He agreed. I sent my package on the 5th of April (the day we were supposed to)! I emailed him telling him that it had been sent and he emailed me back saying that he was just on his way to send mine. After not hearing from him for a few days... I entered my tracking number at the Royal Mail website (http://www.royalmail.com) to see if the package I sent had been delivered. It said that the package had been delivered on the 8th of April (3 days after I sent it)! I emailed him afterwards and he said that he got it but was really busy and hadn't checked it all out yet. Since we both live in the UK, the package he sent me should have arrived in a few days (like mine did) but I decided to leave it a week. After the week had gone past, I emailed him asking for the tracking number so I could check it myself. He emailed me back saying he was away for a long weekend and he would email me the tracking number as soon as he got back. A few days later he emailed me back saying he had about 15 tracking numbers written down and didn't know which was which. I emailed him back (by this time, I was getting quite worried) saying send me all the tracking numbers and I will go through them one by one. No reply for about a week and then I got an email from him (on the 26th of April to be exact) saying that he is sorry and the Wonderswan had been returned to him (he said he messed up the mailing address). He then said he would send it back out to me the following day. I emailed him telling him to not forget to give me the new tracking number (by this time, I didn't trust a word he said). However, he never did send me it. On the 30th of April he sent me an email asking whether I had received the Wonderswan... I emailed him back saying no and I again asked for the trackng number. Well, I haven't heard from him since!!! I emailed him yesterday morning telling him that I would post a Bad Trader Report on GameTZ if I didn't receive the Wonderswan today (4th of May) or at least a tracking number that proved it had been sent. You can probably guess that I haven't received either!!!!

If I ever receive the Wonderswan or my stuff back (which I doubt)... I will take down this Bad Trader Report otherwise it will stay up! I have lost well over £200 in this trade so if he thinks I'm just going to forget about it well then he's wrong... I have already started looking into taking further action against him!!!

Well I hate to do this but I feel I have no other options. I made a trade with Pengo in March, I sent him my package and he received in about a week (not bad for international mail). Well he said he mailed out March 15th, air mail, and gave me a tracking number but it has said the same thing for weeks, he said he would send out a trace and send me a scan of the form when it got back, he said it would take a week, well its been over 2 weeks now. I'm out over $600 (items + shipping costs). Now I'm put in a position of even if the package shows up, which I doubt, I won't be here because I have to move in a week. If I get my package this BTR will come down, if not legal matters will be pursued. For every one else who wants to deal with Pengo make him ship first, I know international mail is slow, but not this slow. I'll still be in touch Pengo.

Well still nothing, I bet he has given me a dummy tracking number and has yet to email the scan of the trace he supposedly filed. I have no doubt in my mind that Pengo is a no good thief, I agree with that Pengo will probaly abandon this account. Pengo you can write on your page anything you want, but the facts are that there are numerous people waiting for you to fufil your end of the deal. I stand with my btr and forum posts that you are a scammer/thief. You want it to come down, prove me wrong. Also I have filed a complaint with your local authorities, they should be in touch. Update 6-4-02
Well it looks like our friend has ditched his account, nothing since 5-26. I did get an email to him and he actually replied saying he would check with the PO, but nothing since May 29. I've tried to email a couple more times but nothing. Also please see who signed for your packages a V. Woodham or something like that has been confirmed as another alias that was the name for the signature confirmation. In conclusion we've been ripped off by this prick. If your still waiting for stuff from Pengo, well your going to waiting a long time. Put up those btr's and I'm going to email Bill to see if he can do and IP trace to see what other accounts this jerk is using or has recently opened, hopefully this will help many other traders avoid being ripped off by him. Also the gametz.com system has deleted my pending trade because it was over 90 days.

Well Pengo said he was going to send my stuff back on the 20th of June, didn't happen. He won't respond to my emails any more. All I can do is warn everyone that Pengo is a THEIF and a LIAR. If anyone gets any info drop me an email, I will do the same. Hopefully this scum bag will get whats coming to him.
