Comment (last update: 3-Jun-2009 10:20am) I'm not here to rip anybody off or jerk anyone around, I'm just tired of taking it up the butt every time I walk into Gamestop, the bunch of soulless bastards. All a brother wants to do is relax and play a little PS3 now and then without having to do a smash and grab on an ATM to buy games. I figure with the right attitude, we can all benefit from a site like this.
Loved: Bioshock (single favorite game), Mirror's Edge (most original / innovative), Metal Gear 4 (awesome scope of production), F.E.A.R. 2 (perfect shooter controls, great story and design), Condemned 2: Bloodshot (best environment, original gameplay, high immersion factor), Fallout 3 (great story, environment and controls), The Orange Box (love me some Portal), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (hyper-realism, ultra-immersive); Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (unbeatable story and environments, original gameplay); Killzone 2 (great story and production values, great FPS balance, just fun to play.) Liked, But Didn't Love: Afro Samurai (awesome production, too simple gameplay), Heavenly Sword (great production and gameplay, frustrating boss fights), Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (tend to get bored with long RPG's) Liked At First, But Got Frustrated / Bored / Didn't Finish : Alone In The Dark, Resident Evil 5, Resistance, Manhunt 2 (Wii), Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena Hated: Dead Space (game made in the boardroom - heavy-handed, predictable, nothing new at all) I don't collect games; I play them and then move them on. I'm aware of the retail value of the games that I trade, but that's not always the most important factor in any given trade. I often attach a high value to some games that I think I'll enjoy, regardless of their "market price." On the other hand, don't insult me or waste my time just trying to rip me off on a one-sided offer, and I have no patience with people who just want to show off games on the "available" list when all they really want is some petty power high by snubbing people who want to trade with them. When trading games with me, I expect you to take the exchange as seriously as you would a face to face business transaction, as do I. I acknowledge receipt and sending of games on the same day that I mail or receive them, and waiting several days to acknowledge receipt or send a game in return is not acceptable. I will make it a priority to send my game to you at the first available opportunity, not just when it is convenient to work it into the rest of my schedule. This usually means I will mail my item out the day after the trade is made (if I send first), or the day after I receive your game, if not the same day. It is not acceptable to wait for days until you just happen to be driving by the post office and have the time to get my game in the mail. If you can't make getting my game to me a priority, like I will do for you, then we don't need to do trades together. And if there are any problems, just let me know and I'm sure we can work it out. So, if you have something you think I may be interested in, please don't hesitate to send me an offer. I always try to respond as quickly as possible. | ||
