I sent him my Dreamcast system, hookups, controllers, UBs, some games, and a strategy guide. Since I was new, I agreed to send first. He was supposed to mail me a money order for $50 and FF VII after receiving my items. I got an e-mail from him saying that he had received the items, but something had come up and he doesn't have the money, now. He is supposedly going to mail my stuff back to me. I asked him to reimburse me for my shipping costs, but I haven't heard back from him. If he didn't have the money, then he shouldn't have pended the trade.

He has several other older accounts on GameTZ, including: cracker3666 badboygoodguy assassin17 Scarface bobby_digtial. Some of these accounts have old Bad Trader Reports on them.

Be warned, don't send first to Daniel Payne, he has a reputation as a scammer.

We agreed to an even 2for2 trade, my Onimusha and Maximo for his Final Fantasy Anthology and Lunar The Silver Star Story. Both of us were to send at the same time using prioity mail, I did but he failed to do so. After he had both my games for a week he said he wanted to return Maximo because he didn't like it, he wanted two of my DVDs to replace it, I said I would do that after I recived Maximo and the 2 games he promised, he never did that either. He made up some lame excuse about how he lost my address and his PC was broken....to make a long story short since he hasn't replied to my last few emails I decided to report him as a bad trader. If my games are returned to me in the same condition that I sent them or if he finally sends his two games I will remove this report.

First of all, everything that the previous BTR's say is all accurate. This person is a professional crook, since he has multiple names and hasn't sent my Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGPC) with two games (Crush Roller and Baseball Allstars).

Let me try to explain this...We originally both agreed on me sending him a NGPC with two games and he would send me a GBA, w/ a game (THPS) , a case and an adaptor. I mailed the stuff to the address below. Once he received it, he told me that the GBA game did not arrive and it wont be,,so we negotiated on him sending 5 VHS in place of the game.

After much time, this "daniel" said that he would send the stuff back because he "doesn't feel like trading anymore". Now wait...there's a cetch. He then told me he wanted $5 for shipping the package..I totally disagreed, but i sent the money anyway, because i just wanted the package back. I sent it to his address and a week later, he tells me that he didn't receive it!!! i was just about to blow up!

AFter talking online with his AIM of Pain516 (which i dont see online anymore..maybe he changed it to avoid me) he said that he would send the package with CONFIRMATION the following week.
I also forgot how to complete trades..and so by accident, i pushed "complete" on our pending trade, and instead of deleting it and completing the second one i made,,he deleted the second one and completed the first one.

That following week, i emailed him and like what his BTRs say,,he only responded with every other email. He told me that he couldn't send it wednesday (day we agreed he would send it) because "he didn't have a ride". Bullcrap...i dont believe that. he then said he would send it friday,, and so the following week , i threaten him with mail fraud, and he says that he sent it friday. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEMS, and it's 2 and a half weeks later. HE ALSO DIDN"T HAVE A CONFIRMATION NUMBER because he said he told his friend to send it and he didnt get a confirmation #.
Mailfraud is my only option now. to those who have also been ripped by this guy..please post them. It'll be helpful.

This person is going by multiple names and may be going by others as well!
His e-mail address is registered under the name "David Taylor". But after a little digging, I found out there is no such person as either David Taylor OR Tony Montana at that address!
There are 2 people living at that address: Daniel Payne and Jack Smith.
Their phone numbers are: (770)720-8868 for Daniel Payne and (770)720-2941 for Jack Smith.
Whoever ripped me off is using the name Pain516 on AOL Instant Messenger.
Considering his AIM ID is "Pain 516", it's probably Daniel Payne.

Our trade was: I give him Final Fantasy Anthology, Metal Gear Solid for GBC, and $20 for a Dreamcast package.
I e-mailed him saying I wouldn't be able to send right away because of unexpected money problems. He said ok. Then one day in chat he started harassing me about paying and stuff, and I told him I could send 2 days later. So I did. I noticed shortly thereafter that he had a BTR and that he deactivated his account. When he got my package, he e-mailed me saying that his Dreamcast broke. Funny, that's what he told the person from his first BTR. Anyway, he wanted to work something out, because he really wanted the FF game and he needed the money. So he offered to send me Lunar 1 and 2 for PSX as well as my MGS game back. I agreed to that. I asked him why he deactivated his account and he had this to say: "I didn't do it, it just happened. Can you tell me bill's e-mail address so I can tell him about it?" Well, I did give him bill's e-mail address, but I seriously doubt he ever e-mailed bill.
HE SAID IN AN E-MAIL SOON AFTER HE WOULD SEND THE VERY NEXT DAY, BUT OBVIOUSLY THAT NEVER HAPPENED. So I e-mailed him. He replied with a "Sorry, I forgot" type of thing. I said fine, whatever, just send it.
I e-mailed him numerous times. He only replies to every other e-mail, and it's always with a "sorry, I forgot". In my second to last e-mail, I told him that if he is ripping me off, I will take actions against him. He responded with "I'm not ripping you off I swear. I was away for Thanksgiving and I just haven't been able to get to the post office." Well, he still didn't send. I e-mailed him again saying if he didn't send by Tuesday I'd start taking action.

WITH 2 BTR'S, AND A DEACTIVATION, I DOUBT THIS ACCOUNT WILL EVER GET ANY MORE DEALS. BUT IT MUST BE KNOWN THAT THIS PERSON/PEOPLE ARE THIEVES. I HOPE THE INFORMATION I HAVE GIVEN AT THE TOP OF THIS BTR MIGHT HELP SOMEONE.

We agreed that i would pay 10 for a PSX mem card (very genoros on my part) he said he would send right away. He didn't after a week he started ignoring me. not before asking if we could complete the trade so he could get a bronze star. i said yes thinking he had already sent it. the second it was completed i didnt' hear from him

he never sent my dc. well, a month later, he never sent, and he told me the dc was broken. that made me mad because i had bought games for it. he said he would send my games back. no problem, BUT WAIT...... he needed ssx for another trade. whatever. he said he would send the bouncer SotN and my dvd back. a few weeks went by, and he couldnt make it to the post office, so he sent with stamps. a month later i have nothing. all i want is my freaking games back. also, its funny how he traded a DREAMCAST later. oh well, im done with this guy, and if my stuff doesnt come by the 10th, i file mail fraud.

Well first off,he has less trades then me,yet he REFUSES to send first,so i finally get him to agree to send first,and one of the items he wanted,was a linkin park cd,and i agreed,since he agreed to send first,i could send the cd.So anyways,i send.Then the next day,he comes on 'acting' like his brother and said "Chris is at the hospital,his other brother got cut and is in critical condition" Well,like 4 days later,he finally gets on,and he says "the cd doesnt work! it spins really fast...".Of course i didnt believe him because i tested it before it went out.Well i waited,then told him to simply send the cd back and i would send him another one,but he said he didnt have any money.I mean c'mon,50 cents to send the thing back?!So anyways,that night,i find out he is making a similar deal to my friend (Kav10).SO i got worried,then i found out,he made a deal with another friend(thequickone) and well he made them both send some things first.Sounds fishy,then when i talk to Kav,he told me that Chris told him his games didnt work...thats weird.Well,i decided to write mr Paynes a letter,so i did,nd no reply.A couple days later,i was in a chat here,and a guy said "has anybody seen scarface lately?i think he ripped me off" so me and him were talkin on AIM,and then turns out.Chris,took his lunar 2 game.Well,within the next 4 days,i saw Chris putting lunar 2 up for trade in the chat!I mean really,then i talked to him on AIM,and wanted to get to the bottom of it.So,he was all mad and stuff,and kept insisting he wasnt a theif,so He told me to F off then he said "thanks for the cd" obviously a theif here.Turns out,his real name was Jay Reeds,and that he gave me,and my 2 friends,totally different names...(Daniel Paynes,Chris Waltz,and Chris Paynes)Well,i think this member should be banned forever from Gametz,he is a theif!
