He was to send his payment on June 13th 2008 at the very latest. I sent my side of the deal on June 2nd 2008. He received June 5th 2008. After the 13th, I asked him as to when he'd be sending his side of the trade. On the 16th he said he was going to send, but he hadn't. On the 19th he apologized, and explained that things were real hectic, without mentioning when i should see the payment sent. On the 23rd, he told me "I will probably send Thursday. No promises". He explained that his grandmother is in the hospital, and that this trade wasn't as important as that. He mentioned that she was taken in on the 16th (3 days after the payment was supposed to have been sent). It is now June 28th, and I have yet to hear as to whether he has even sent his payment or not. I wasn't going to post a BTR until tonight, as I was hoping he'd maybe send during this past week. I do understand that his grandmother is in the hospital, but I don't see why this trade can't be completed. All he really had to do was put $20 in an envelope with a stamp, and put it in a mailbox.... It also frustrates me that he even had 3 days after the payment was supposed to have been sent out before his grandmother was even in the hospital. The following suggestions are ways I feel this can be resolved: 1. Sending my payment of $20 in the mail as originally planned 2. Sending me a paypal payment of $20.91 (to cover paypal fee) to christian_cuddington@yahoo.com 3. Returning my 4GB USB drive in original condition I will remove this BTR when any of the above suggestions are met I really wish I didn't have to post this, but after waiting over 2 weeks for a payment, I can't think of anything else I could have done. Best of wishes to Brandon, as I can understand how it feels to have a family member in the hospital. I still feel this trade could have been completed beforehand though. [UPDATE: June 29th 2008] I talked to Brandon earlier tonight, and it sounds like he will be making an effort to send his payment to me this upcoming week. I'm hoping to have the money by the end of this week... BTR will be removed when I receive the payment.... UPDATE: June 30th 2008 Brandon has sent me $10 via Paypal today (9.41 after fees). After explaining that I am not going to pay the paypal fees, he agreed to send $11.22 (10.59 after fees) Friday. Hopefully this BTR will be down Friday evening... UPTATE: July 3rd 2008 Explained to Brandon that my Paypal account is having problems, and I will not be able to accept any payments via Paypal until further notice. I understand if there is a further delay in payment, as this was unexpected. I told him that I will keep him updated on the Paypal situation, but I would prefer to have him mail the $10 if he does have the chance. The BTR will be removed when I receive payment. I appreciate Brandon making an effort to resolve this case. This BTR will be taken down as soon as possible :) UPDATE: July 5th 2008 I talked to Brandon about another alternative of gifting me a few games on Steam, which would come to a little under the $10 owed. Today I talked to him, and he talked to his brother about it (who I guess is responsible for paying me somehow). His brother did not understand the concept of Steam, and told me this would not be possible. He then told me that he would be sending $10 in the mail, and I explained they in fact owe me $11.22. If I do not receive the full $11.22, this BTR will not be removed. I am frustrated at how this trade was handled. It is going on 3 weeks now, and I am still waiting for this trade to be completed. The fact that Brandon's brother had to get involved shows there is a lack of responsibility. I would suggest to Brandon that he should maybe wait a few more years until he begins trading online, as he is clearly not old enough to do this himself. Hopefully this BTR will be taken down sometime next week... To the response... First of all, I shouldn't have had to accept any paypal payments... The original agreement was that you would be sending money in the mail. Second of all, your brother is also mailing the payment to me. Are you incapable of doing this yourself? Since if I would have never gotten anyone involved he wouldn't have received any type pf payment at all until I had time (which would be in one more week or so)... At least I cared enough to get the money to him that I involved someone else.. But some people you just can't please no matter which way you try...Fine if your not okay with the paypal payment and you want $20 in cash then freaking send it back... Yes I am incapable of doing that... Sorry I am not like you that sits around on the comp all day... I have other responsibilities... The only way he would send the payment if I payed him back which I DID! Sorry if I don't have all the prevliges adults do... If you really have a problem with it then ask their age before you pend!!
