Note: I will still trade for GameTZ time, even now that the Subscriber-Only system is finished (although, subscriber time is somewhat less valuable than it used to be).
Hello!
I am primarily a collector, and am mostly using GameTZ to help complete my collection.
The following are some guidelines for dealing with me. Not rules per se, but ignore them at your own peril:
I am happy to send first, as long as you don't have a Bad Trader Report. If you have just the one, we can perhaps send at the same time, but we both must use trackable postage (I recommed trackable postage in any case).
When proposing a trade, please read the items' comments to ensure that it's what you want. I commonly mention the region of the item in the comments, if it's not US/NTSC. If you don't understand the comments, just ask! Remember: it is not safe to assume anything about a trade.
Please don't make an offer for something that's in my Collection and not in my Available Games. If it's available, it's in Available Games.
Likewise, if it's in Available Games, then it's available. All it takes is the right deal.
If you want to know more, ask! I can always send pictures of every available item - pictures of the actual item, not "stock photos" - on request.
I am prepared to buy/sell or trade for items. If an item doesn't have a cash value, then I simply haven't gotten around to marking it - I will still deal in either cash or trades for it. All prices are just a guide and are fully negotiable!
I can provide cash payments via PayPal, an international Bank Draft (for large values), or GameTZ time. I might be prepared to send cash through a secure post service, but prefer not to, and it'd really have to be worth it. Likewise, Telegraphic Transfer/Wire Transfer to a bank account, or Giro International Beneficiary are options, but have immense fees and are options only for very, very high-value trades (fees will probably exceed US$50, and time will probably be about two weeks, so keep this in mind).
For the love of all that is good, please pack your items in a package appropriate to the distance it has to travel - ie; bubble-wrapped, in a box (a padded mailer is okay for some items). I swear, if I get another smashed CD case wrapped in brown paper…
Obviously, if I am paying for an item instead of trading for it, I will pay as appropriate for postage. Also, I am willing to pay a reasonable "handling" fee, though I never charge one myself.
I deal in games from all regions; any that are not fully US/NTSC compatible are marked as such. Region coding is messy, complex and almost completely different between any given systems, so ask me if in any doubt whatsoever. Try going here for a bit more information, or feel free to email me (even if the region question is not part of a trade with me).
If I say I want a game from a particular region, please, don't offer me one from another region - it might as well be an offer for a different game. I know about Gameboy region compatibility, but offering me, say, the US version of Lunar: Legend when I have asked for the Japanese version is pointless. I don't care that it will play in any Gameboy; it won't make the game text Japanese, nor will it complete my collection.
Likewise, if I say I want a game in "unopened" condition, please understand that I very specifically want a game only in its' original factory seal (NOT common shrinkwrap). On the plus side, I pay or trade very, very highly for such items. Try going here for a bit more information, or feel free to email me (even if the region question is not part of a trade with me).
I will almost never want a re-release (Platinum, Classics, Greatest Hits, Players Choice) of a game without explicitly asking for it. Please indicate if this is so when proposing a deal. It is even less likely that I will want a pirated game in any form. There might be cases where I want these, but I'll probably have them marked as such. Just be honest, and there won't be a problem any bigger than an Offer Declined email. Try to screw me and... and at least one of us will be unhappy.
My eBay User ID is mp3imp, with excellent feedback, and mostly for international purchases. This will not impress too many people here; but until my GameTZ rating has a chance to pick up, it'll go a small way to improving my credibility here.
I recommend EMS, which is positively the fastest, best shipping agent to, from or within the South-East-Asian region.
Here are the EMS parcel tracking sites for most countries:
United States
日本 (or here if you can't read Japanese)
Australia
United Kingdom (excluding Ireland)
Ireland
Deutschland (or here if you can't read German)
Canada (ici pour le Français)
Brasil (or here if you can't read Brazillian Portugese)
{Sorry, I don't normally change a default font face or color, but back MS Sans Serif is not really optimal at such a small size for so much text)
