Comment (last update: 16-Jul-2008 9:37am) IGN has become more and more of a graphics / flash based ad site that my dial-up can not handle it... I'm going to list my entire collection here over the next little bit... So far I have converted my Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, Xbox, PSone, Nintendo 64, & NES Collections... Still need to do Gamecube, Playstation 2 SNES, GBA etc.etc. For now you can view most of my collection at my IGN page (Current as of 6 months ago or so) http://club.ign.com/b/list/custom?lid=100018&owner... 98% of the items in my collection are NOT for trade. There is a price for everything... but I'm really not actively looking to trade these. NES games will only be traded / sold to Wanted Nintendo 64 games are for my oldest daughter (6) They can be cart only & label torn as long as they work... I do not value these high at all and am not willing to pay ebay prices for them. But if you are willing to cut me a deal send over an offer! I am willing to consider offers for 360 titles not on my wanted list and not in my collection (and not 100% completed on my gamertag) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- A personal reflection on the loss of a good friend... I had a good friend pass away last night (07/15/08) while I was on my beat. He died quietly and painlessly. Last night was filled with promises that will never get to be fulfilled. We enjoyed some Bankshot, Solitaire, Bliss Island, and N+. But mostly our last hours together were spent browsing the marketplace, and downloading all the new E3 trailers and the demos for Too Human and Tales Of Vesperia. I promised to play the demos with him this afternoon and watch the trailers with my wife when she returned from her vacation. As my shift approached, I finalized my active download list, told a few people on my friends list when I would be back on for some multiplayer, and held down the guide button for what would end up being the final time. I powered him down and allowed his downloads to finish up in the background while I was at work. I made sure he was giving me his happy little green flash to let me know he was downloading my requests, and laid my wireless controller on top of him. After I finished my tour of duty, I left promptly at 6:00am in order to see how his downloads went and to set up the new Wednesday arcade releases and any new E3 downloads to process while I slept. I turned on the TV, pressed the guide button on my controller and set it down on the couch while I adjusted the AC and got something to drink. It was strangely quiet. No startup sound and beep of my gamertag logging on that I have grown accustomed to over these past 2+ years. I looked back at the TV, it was a soulless black. Maybe I didn’t turn it on? I thought I did. Then my eyes moved down. Those three red quadrants flashing around the sad little green power symbol. I’ve read the stories. I just never thought it would happen to me and the system I have babied over these past years. I always gave him plenty of fresh cool air, keeping him out in the open and horizontal. I always got him the latest greatest accessories. 4 Wireless controllers, 3 guitars, 2 microphones, drum set, arcade stick, Scene It! Big button controllers, a vision camera, 120GB hard drive, memory card, wireless adapter, wireless headset, chat pad and wired headset. Around 20 different faceplates so he could express himself. He had it all. And only the premium versions of games. No cheap copies for my baby. If it had a limited or collectors version then that is what I bought for him. And I always kept him current with a gold xbox live subscription even if I was not able to let him online to play multiplayer as much as I wanted to... Now it is time for you to return home Mr. Xbox 360. thank you for the last 2+ years (03/06-07/08) I have truly enjoyed the time I had with you. It’s time for you DRM licenses to be transferred into a new shell though. As I called 1-800-4MY-XBOX that startup sound almost brought a tear to my eye....You may be gone, but never forgotten. RIP Xbox 360 #1 (03/06-07/08) (Favorite game – Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion – over 260 hours of game play logged.) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- gametz.com cred stats Personal Achivements http://www.ssnewstelegram.com/news/2007/May/nt0510... http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/tamuc-news/news-retur...
