Custom Work
I'm always interested in custom ideas and work. Let me know if you have any fun thoughts for anything you don't see listed here!
Also, if you have a system or accessory you'd like worked on but don't see it on the list let me know. If I don't have one available to mod here I might make a special deal with you so I can then offer that service to others.
Please note that custom work takes much longer as I have to do research, development, and locate parts. So I will often give you a cheaper price then the service will eventually cost but I need your patience in return. |
Payment
I take the following forms of payment:
- Paypal: Direct funds that are in your account, or a transfer from a bank account that's attached to your paypal. Please no Credit/Debit card payments due to the extra fees and other complications.
- Money Order: Any kind is fine.
- Personal Check: Items will be held until the payment clears.
- Trades: I occasionally accept trade items in exchange for my work if you don't have the $ on hand. Please check my wanted list (and don't pay too much attention to the "values" listed there) for someof the items I might trade for. I'm also open to any kinds of offers for things you might have around... Never know  |

- Please note my camera doesn't photograph LED light very well. So bear in mind that the LEDs look much better in reality. |
Shipping Information
- What do you need to ship?: Make sure to ask, as I have most power supplies/av cables/controllers here on hand. So in most cases you'll just need to ship the console itself. That will save you some shipping cost.
- Shipping Cost: Is the actual cost of my return shipment by whatever method you request. My zip code is 01301 to help you calculate the actual cost. Priority Mail Flat Rate and Priority Mail are fast but usually expensive if the package has any substantial weight. Parcel Post or UPS Ground are much cheaper options if you're looking to save some green. I'm fine with any way you wish to ship as long as the items are safely packaged / can get here undamaged.
- Tracking: If using USPS I recommend using Delivery Confirmation. If you print your own label off the USPS website it's even cheaper. UPS offers free tracking and $100 of free insurance depending on how you ship. Having some type of method to track the package really makes any transaction much safer for both parties. I always use it on the return shipment so I ask you to do the same. If you don't purchase any tracking I have no way of helping if the package has anything happen to it.
- Packing/ Packing Supplies: I reuse packing materials as long as they are in nice condition. Please make sure to take the time to package your items safely or they can easily get damaged in transport. If your materials are sub-par and I have to replace them there will be an extra charge for the materials/my time.
- Shipping Tips: For the safest possible trip for your precious goods, draw "This End Up" arrows and or write "This End Up Please" on all the appropriate sides.
-Shipping CD-ROM Systems: Due to the more fragile nature of cd-rom systems following the above "Shipping Tips" is essential to avoid issues. NEC Turbo Duos and Duo R/RX systems seem especially prone to having the laser bumped during shipment.

Time Required / Turn Around Time
Estimate that any job will take up to 4 weeks. Most often jobs take much less, but plan on 4 weeks to be on the safe side. It all depends on how busy my life and schedule is. I'll keep you posted along the way, but please be sure to ask if you're short on time. |
