I sent my end of the bargain on May 9th and have paypal records that back me up. I thought everything seemed OK, then 2 weeks went by with no dust covers. He had marked "sent" on May 15, 2006. Then another week...now it's been almost 2 months and I haven't received anything. Multiple attempts to contact Rick have failed, with the only response being one or two "have you received yet?" I gave Rick a final notice 9 days ago that if I did not receive in a week I would be forced to file a BTR. I am now doing so. Rick, I'm sorry about this, but all I want is to just receive my dust covers or my money back, I don't care how you do it, but that will prompt me to immediately clear this BTR. Thank you. Unfortunately I feel I am left with no choice. Rick and I made a deal, my $3 for his Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions guide. I sent my end a few days after we pended and he recieved shortly after that. He then said he mailed my guide Mar 17th. It never arrived and I get a message from him May 16th (2 months later) that the guide was returned to him as undeliverable. I found it odd as I have never had problems recieveing items from other trades. But I also knew the post office was far from perfect so it is possible. So to be on the safe side, I gave him an alternate address to send to. A month later, I have still yet to recieve anything at either address. Now I know the post office thing is out of his hands but why is it a month after that supposedly happened, I still haven't recieved anything. Rick I hate to do this especially for such a small trade but it's been 3 months and I still haven't recieved anything. Please give me some type of update soon. I'd still like the guide if that is an option. If not, just send me my $3 back. UPDATE (3-14-07): Well here we are a year later and still no progress. No guide, no $3, nothing. I think it is safe to assume I will never see anything from Rick. While I'd like to believe someone isn't rude / mean enough to rip someone off over a measly $3, he also had more than enough opportunities to fix this trade before going AWOL from this site in July '06. Even if him leaving the site was out of his control somehow, that is still roughly 3 months to send someone $3 or a guide which of course he didn't. If there is anything "good" to come from this, it is that I wasn't ripped off for something much more valuable. Congrats Rick, you will forever be my first (and hopefully only) BTR.
