Louie was the first trader I ever dealt with here and he left a bad taste in my mouth. He originally approached me on 24 February 1999 about selling his Saturn system. His original offer was: "im asking 80 dollars for it, it is 2 months old, 1 controller, ac adaptor, av wires, 4 games and 2 sampler cd. the games are, Virtual Cop, Daytona USA, Virtual Fighter 2, World Wide Soccer 98, Nights into Dreams Sampler, and Bootleg Smapler. all the games are in great condition."

It took a lot of work to get him to send the system. He had agreed to send it to a friend since at that time I was living in Japan. That friend was coming to visit me in Japan and had agreed to bring it with her when she came. After several email messages inquiring where the package was (over 2-3 weeks), it finally arrived the day before she left for Japan.

When my friend arrived in Japan, I found out the games were NOT in "great condition" as he had indicated: all of them were heavily scratched, though luckily they all seemed to work. All I ask is that he contact me to work out some sort of deal to make up for the scratched games. I'm not sure if he'll ever take care of this, though, since he seems to have disappeared from the site.

Update: 16 March 2002

I sent him a message asking what he wanted to do to take care of the problem, and he wrote back:

Sorry but i do not remember anything, and im not making up
for something i dont recall. If you had a problem with this,
why did it 3 years to notify me. I dont remember the condition,
and i dont remember the trade. Sorry but theirs nothing i can do!

To answer his only question to me: I waited this long because he was the first trade I did here, and the BTR system wasn't as refined back then as it is now. He was a silver-star trader at the time (or at least had a bunch more trades than I did--I forget if the star system was in place when I did this trade), and I didn't know if anyone would believe me, someone with only one trade, over him. I decided to finally put up the BTR after seeing that he had 3-4 other BTRs on him.

He doesn't seem too keen on fixing his problems, though I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised. smile

We dealt before through UGTZ and the first trade was okay (not smooth though, he was late). This is the second time we traded and this time he ripped me off. We are supposed to send at the same time on 01/17/2000. I sent the item, but now 03/28/2000 is still yet to get his package. He told me he has sent the game with tracking number etc, but the package never come. Then he promised to send cash instead, but to no surprise, it never come. So, beware of this person! DO NOT TRADE! Louie, I don't know why you do this to me, I am very disappointed. This trade report will come off when I get your payment or games.

I traded him Final Fantasy Anthology for Monster Rancher 1. I sent the game to him. I never received the game and I e-mailed him and he told me that he's going to buy a new one. So far I've been waiting for 3 months for the game and I requested my game back he said he would send it back and I still didn't receive it... This mishap is partly my fault because I didn't see his very poor ratings. And I'll never trade with any one like him again. Louie, people like you take the many possibilities of trading away. I hope you are banned from this site because you don't deserve the ability to trade with others over the net.

We made an agreement of my Mario Party and $$$ for his World Driver Championship. We agreed to send on the same day. He got his game in about a week and a half, and it's been 1 month since he said he sent the game. Now I don't think it takes that long for a game to be shipped. It says on his ratings, that he cheats and lies, even though he has 60 trades. So, if you trade with him, make him send first, or don't trade with him at all, or you'll be waiting a long time for your game, if you get it all!

Louie, once I get my game, this comes off.
