I have been watching a lot of anime on the job. I work in the accounts department and my office is further from everyone else so I get to watch netflix all day as long as it is dubbed. Right now I am currently binge watching digimon at work and Marvel Disk Wars at home (started watching it as research for a comic panel I do but got kind of into it). This year so far I have been able to finish:

RWBY
Future Diaries
Devil is a Part Timer
Digimon Season 1
Kill la Kill
Attack on Titan
Sword Art Online season 1
Deadman Wonderland
Knight of Sidonia
Gurren Lagaan
Fate/Zero
Parts 1 and 2 of JoJo
Seasons 1 and 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh (don't judge)
Zatch Bell

I have netflix, hulu, and crunchyroll but I despise watching hulu just because of the repetitiveness/frequency of the commercials. I watched brotherhood last year on netflix but I had to watch the last 10 or so episodes on Hulu and it was painful.

I am almost done with Diskwars (15 episodes left) and then I need something else to watch. Outside of JoJo part 3, what is something good that is on Crunchyroll for me to watch? I have been hearing good things about tokyo ghoul and parasyte but I haven't done much research in terms of finding streams so I am not sure if those are on there yet. I also have been recently hearing about this assassination classroom show. Is that any good?

Agreed. I think the same thing with naruto, through the first 40 or so episodes they both were great, and then they just kind of floundered. I think both past the point of no return around the Arrcaor/Akatuski arcs.

For Bleach I watched the Rukia arc (first 80 episodes) and stopped caring after that. As for Naruto, I proudly watched all the filler. The only reason I am not still watching Shippuden is because I don't like torrenting and by the time I found it streaming (or cared to look for it) I was 100 episodes behind. From my understanding though is I didn't miss much.

Yeah Rescue Rukia was the peak. I will admit there are occasionally spikes in quality later on , but they are few and far between and never last more than a few episodes.

My issue with naruto is that there was simply to much focus on sasuke and too much of a focus specifically on naruto and sasuke's relationship. In my opinion it would have been a better show if he left for a while, but they made amends early on, and it went back to simply focusing on the team against enemy x. To be fair though, Naurto is like the only anime to ever end with my preferred pairing, so that alone will ensure I buy the whole series at some point.

Look Cowboy Bebop is a good show, I would even go so far as to say great, that said its ungodly overrated, and if you think the two you mentioned are the only good shows in a over a decade you seriously don't watch any anime.

I do like Key, but to me they go to far, ie the stories end up being one note and trying to be as depressing and gut wrenching to the viewer to the point that I know in whatever I see from Key, despite being slice of life drama, half the cast will either die or end up in a suicidal depression.

I couldn't get into Samurai. Bebop is definitely great but I'd agree that it's overrated at least in regards to so many people naming it the best ever. I think nostalgia has a large role in that. I'm not really a fan of the independent episode format either. It deserves a place near the top just not #1 IMO.

I've been reading TG. It's uh, well... I wouldn't compare it to Gantz. I'm not sure which I like better at the moment, but Gantz had some really unique slashy horror crap going on, where TG is clearly made for mainstream. It can get nasty but largely it's got kind of a "come read this" feel. Gantz sucked me in. TG lost me fairly quickly.

Just the manga, mind you. The Gantz Anime was a bit of an abortion. With TG already aimed at mainstream it seems to translate to Anime quite well.

there is a surprising amount of horror manga/anime in Japan, but for some reason its a genre that rarely comes over despite all the live action flicks. some of it is really good, and the dark comedy horror they do is really good.
