Yes, that is exactly what I am telling you. Look on the back of those boxes, and you will NOT see a UV logo.
The Digital Copy is for Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA), NOT UltraViolet. There is a slip inside with a DMA code. Disney never participated in Ultraviolet (UV). Disney did their own service, Disney Movies Anywhere, that did NOT connect to UltraViolet, which pretty much everyone else used.
Now, there's a new site, MoviesAnywhere, that's basically Disney Movies Anywhere 2.0, and also pulls in your movies from Vudu (including UV movies), iTunes, and Google. This means your Disney and UV movies can all be on the same platfornm. BUT, not all of the movie studios joined this new platform, so some movies (notably from Paramount and Lionsgate) don't show up there yet. I'm betting they will join up sooner or later though, rather than be left behind.
