From TN. I watch the vols. But I am a Miami Hurricane fan.

My first college football game was in 2002 when my dad took me to Knoxville to see them play miami (same year they went to championship and got screwed by refs vs Ohio State lol)

Since then, been a big Miami fan. Glad to see them doing work this year. And can't wait for next game vs #3 ND!!

I'm hopeful, but realistic. History tells me Gus doesn't have the coaching ability to maintain 4 quarters with either team. Hell we should have beat GA last year and screwed that away.

I'm a Florida fan that is glad to be rid of McElwain. I never liked him. I remember one of his first games he was screaming at a player like he was out of his mind. Combine that with our anemic offense and I'm glad we're moving on.

I think nobody can touch Bama this year (and I hate Bama). My prediction for the playoff teams are Bama, Notre Dame, Clemson, and Oklahoma. Bama wins the rubber match against Clemson for the title.

Everyone has a bad game. I think the conference champ games really are the wildcard. For instance: Bama may get in and not have to play it. Auburn may lose because of injuries. That extra game needs to be implemented into the playoff IMHO.

That's probably pretty realistic at this point. Ohio State will probably beat Wisconsin and get left out because the committee will favor a 1 loss non conference champ Alabama over a 2 loss big 10 champ. Ohio State isn't that good so they don't deserve to be there anyway. No one from the PAC 12 deserves to be in either so as long as those teams win out they should be in.
Scots

Yeah, my prediction of course assumes Ohio State beats Wisconsin, Clemson beats Miami, and Auburn beats Georgia. If one or more of those goes the other way, it all changes.

I'd love to see it ALL be different. If the opposite happens in all cases, you'd have:

1. Oklahoma
2. Wisconsin
3. Georgia
4. Alabama

Or something similar. Would be awesome.

Also, TCU could get hot and beat Oklahoma, but I see that as a bit more of a long shot.

For the NCAA to trumpet that they're making the regular season matter with this playoff system, seems like they should just say that you have to win your conference to be in the playoffs.

I see what you're saying, but at the same time, the "regular season" is more than just conference play. It's about the best teams at the time of the playoff. And being a conference champion is just one piece of that.

It's getting harder and harder to justify these multiple loss teams being ahead of an undefeated UCF.

Bama is a tough one. If auburn blows out UGA again they may get in. Otherwise that late season iron bowl is exactly what it should be- a playoff round.

That's my prediction for this coming ranking. I just talk about Alabama because the committee will find a way to get them in lol.

But it should be a good game for WisVsOSU.
I would pick OSU to beat them.
I could see Miami upsetting Clemson again like in the regular season.

OU is in if they win
Winner of Miami/Clemson is in
Auburn is in if they beat UGA
Wisc in if they beat Ohio state

That's the easiest scenario. Hopefully some of those things don't happen though so we have some chaos.

Alabama hasn't been playing well. Should have lost to miss state, then lost to auburn. Not a good time to be playing bad.

5 SEC coaches are fired. I said back in October that Gus was in the hot seat next year unless he beat Ga and Bama. He did it so I suspect we'll have him for at least 3 more. Which is good, we need consistency. Sometimes I think we chase after Bama too much. Saban is a once in a lifetime coach, but hell he gone within 5 years.

Imho the only reason to expect a different outcome is going to be crowd noise. That wrecks an o-line and qbs synch when you can't hear. Especially with an inexperienced QB trying to coordinate hand signals and linemen just jumping off of movement instead of count. I expect much faster jumps and better running game.

I expect auburn to pull it out. They're on a different level at the right time.

Yea the noise should be about even. The field may also come into play as well as the heat of an enclosed stadium. I always fear Gus is going to get cold feet and go conservative and start running up the middle every first down. If you see that you know it's not going to end well for auburn.

I don't know why you all are saying Bama. I get they're number 5, but I don't think Auburn slips that much because of one loss.

1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma
3. Georgia

4. This is the toughest pick for me, but I think I'd go with Auburn over Ohio State. They do have 3 losses, but they also have 2 wins over the top team at the time, and their LSU loss looks better than Ohio State's unranked loss to Iowa.

Alabama's resume doesn't impress me. The opening week win over FSU was dominated, and essentially knocked FSU out for the season, but everything else is mediocre.
