I have a sealed copy of NFL Blitz 2000 for the N64 I'm trying to sell. VGPC.com has it for 106. Ebay has one selling for like 160 and no sold copies that I could find. Any idea on what I should sell it for? Looking for a little bit of money but I don't want to over or under price it. Help pls.

You might get $160 but it will likely take months and months to move.

Well that's OK, because I really wasn't even trying to sell it for that much. I'd be happy with 80-100 if possible

Pricing seems to like it might be a bit of a fluke. I just don't see sealed copies of that version being so much more rare then the other Blitz games. For example, the difference between complete and sealed is 41.6% for Blitz, 526.5 for Blitz 2000, and 200% for Blitz 2001. I guess if your not in a hurry to sell start it off high, and accept best offers. Assuming mint condition I'd think $65-$75 for retail value. Bad condition could drop that up to 50%, IMHO. It really is pretty much just an educated guess.

Blitz
$9.50 Loose, $18.10 Complete, and $25.64 New

Blitz 2000
$7.95 Loose, $16.52 Complete, and $103.50 New

Blitz 2001
$10.50 Loose, $14.95 Complete, and $29.97 New

Yeah, sometimes the only way to find out what something is worth is to see what someone is actually willing to pay for it.

I tossed a Streets of Rage 2 for GG on eBay. Game was crushed and seal wasn't great. One had sold a few weeks prior in fantastic condition for $60 or so. Mine went for about $80. Sometimes it is all about timing.

The value was 80, put it on ebay for 80 and it sold in less than 5 minutes

You know, a sealed sports game's a little like the mule with a spinning wheel: no one knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to use it. smiley:::wink

Blitz isn't your typical sports game, either. Lots and lots of nostalgia attached to the Blitz games, there's a Blitz arcade cab at our local Barcade and it's one of the most popular cabinets in the joint. And they got Galaga '88, TMNT, X-Men 6P, Street Fighter II and Ghouls 'n Ghosts, man.

I must concede to this point; both NFL Blitz and NBA Jam are pure arcade greatness. yes

Is that a question? I much prefer Tecmo Super Bowl to NFL Blitz. I'm pretty sure NFL Blitz would be outside of my top-5 football games. Not sure if this is controversial, but I think NFL Street might have done everything better. I almost wish they would re-release NFL Street, but have an option to have the players play on a normal field in full uniforms.

I've got to go Blitz too but it's not as easy of a call as I thought it might be. But I just discovered and started playing Tecmo Super Bowl in the last few months and it's become one of my favorite nes games.

Sure, I'd love to have a new Blitz game, but the series hasn't been good since the early 2000s. We'll see how the new Mutant League game turns out.

Tecmo Super Bowl is still my all time favorite football game. I love that it still have a very active community that updates it annually.
