I've played it quite a bit. I basically play the 3 same words to start: ROATE, PLUSH, DINKY. The bulk of the time my guesses are 4567. It's rare that I ever miss a word.
Wordle, then Dordle, now Quordle...I guess you could just keep adding more boards to this. I think we need to just go ahead and skip to a 16-word game.

I've noticed that the words in these do on an overall level seem to be harder than the others. I may have heard of all of them so far, but some of them sure aren't common...
And don't get me started on their joke achievements. The odds of one of them (finish in 4 words) are so astronomical without cheating it may as well be impossible.

You're right. The word pool for Quordle seems to filled with words that are more unusual than those I've encountered in Wordle. Ingot a few days ago, gaffe the other day.
As opposed to today's Wordle which was more simple:
being.
And that 4 word achievement is too much. The odds of that happening are so low. Even with regular Wordle I've never yet gotten the word on turn 1. The closest I've gotten was turn 2.

That's the reason I stopped playing Dordle. There were times where I was simply having to guess about words that are extremely rare and practically never used (or known about) in America.

I suspect I'll prolly stop at some point myself. Fortunately, with the other words, I go through enough other letters that I can see what letter combinations are even left that make sense for the last word, letting me get it.
