What is Honey?
Honey is a plugin for Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Opera(why) that offers coupon codes and/or cashback on a majority of online retailers. Honey is passive, which means that it is only activated when you're shopping on eBay/Etsy/JCPenny/whatever.

.How does it work?
When you're on a website that Honey is compatible with (again, a majority of online retailers), the honey plugin will activate and offer you the best coupon code available upon checkout. Honey usually has about 5-10 different coupon codes it will try per retailer, and it will select the best offer for you. If no coupon codes are available (like on eBay), Honey offers HoneyGold, which is a small percent (generally 1-5%) cashback that can be redeemed for PayPal/Amazon/gift cards.
--I would like to note that there are sometimes better deals found elsewhere that Honey doesn't "know about". You can occasionally find a better coupon code for small retailers that might not be in the system. However....Why should I get it?
It's completely passive and you don't have to go out of your way/remember to find and put in coupon codes. It saves you money without a whole lot of effort, and works when you might not even me thinking about putting in a coupon code. What do you get out of it?
$5 (in HoneyGold) per referral that purchases something within the first 60 days of activation. What do I get out of it?
My eternal gratitude. Honey unfortunately doesn't currently offer anything for clicking a referral link, but you do
get to start using the plugin, which will save you buckets of money.
