Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

The CoD games are available physical, campaign usually on disc and surprisingly hold a bit of value. The bulk of this garbage just makes for a decent coaster.

6-Dec(#49)I thought coop wasn't coming to Halo Infinite until spring 2022?

it's not, I said non-co-op campaign.

* 6-Dec(#51)Ohhh. Single player campaign then. My bad. Brain fart.
longhornsk57

7-Dec(#53)Well it usually doesn't include any DLC, but I doubt they'd remove actual game components.

* 7-Dec(#54)Yeah from all the reviews I've watched and read so far for Halo Infinite's single player game the consensus is yeah it's great but could have been even greater with coop at launch. Covid or not, they had a year extra to polish and add and fix crap yet a major portion of the game is still an estimated 6 months out and by that time ppl will have already since moved on. SMH.

What all is still 6 months out?

The co op campaign
longhornsk57

7-Dec(#58)There's a lot of us that specifically only want to play the campaigns with friends, same with Gears.
It's definitely a major portion of the game
longhornsk57

7-Dec(#60)I mean literally everything we say on this forum is an opinion, I think we all just take that as a given without stating it after each opinion post.
My point is that many people do consider it to be a major part of the game, just to point out is all, it wasn't like some direct attack or.anything.
longhornsk57

7-Dec(#62)Oh OK cool.
Ya Halo 5 sucks like that I had to lend my Series S to a friend and play on my X for coop
SilverOwl

7-Dec(#65)I most likely won't play the Halo infinite campaign bc of the no co op.
Groo

7-Dec(#68)will the Halo Co-op or have they had in the past had different Characters that played different or had different stories like the chic in Gears 5? or is Halo CoOp just 2 same players Foxhole buddy etc?
Groo

7-Dec(#69)Can you no longer buy Forza Horizon 3 Digital?
SwiftJAB

7-Dec(#70)@groo nope. Licenses only last for so long on these games, so they get delisted after a few years. Only option is physical. The real bummer is that the only way you can get the DLC is by having a redeem code that is in circulation. I regret not getting the DLC when I could, but then again, I rarely play Forza Horizon. I just like to jump in from time to time to check out the visuals and physics. I'd probably play a lot more if I had a wheel and peddles.

In the past it's been both. Halo 3 for instance one person is arbiter one is master chief. Halo 4 you're both master chief and it plays as if you're both just one person but you both play if that makes sense.
It's not really as good as gears story wise for co-op incorporation but it's still fun

8-Dec(#73)@SwiftJAB & @longhornsk57 thank you!

Exactly. I have no interest in Halo at all without couch co-op campaign. (Which is why I haven't played Halo since Halo 4.)
I'm very excited that this version will finally have couch co-op campaign again -- but I won't buy it until that exists.
longhornsk57

8-Dec(#77)Haha wow man that's awesome John. Have y'all played Gears 4 and 5 together?
SwiftJAB

9-Dec(#81)My bros and I enjoyed 3 player co-op on Gears 5. There were a few sections that just felt too long, but overall it was super fun. I think I skipped Gears 3 and 4 which made following the story less enjoyable as there were a lot of tie-ins.
