here's a finished listings, take me to one where the box is a little off and beat up for much less, but thinking you can get at least $500 CAD for it if not more, and that's $420 at least profit minus getting it. And Imgur also deletes images after so many months of not being viewed, most free image hosting sites do so they don't run out of space. They're asking for a free solution, Discord's very good, especially for temporary image hosting needs, especially since it's just a couple clicks to get an image shareable from inside the app. Unless you had a better free solution ready? And if you have that unknown period of time, let me know, I've had images I had hosted for literally four years still viewable before I nuked the image dump. Which is also another nice feature; with a couple clicks, you can just kill all your previous images and start a new one if necessary. I'm presuming deleting the server deletes the images, I haven't necessarily tested it, so don't take that part as gospel. But once you get it set up image sharing across the web is super simple, I use it everywhere, cross server, cross site, you can use it on multiple platforms, I have zero complaints. If you use discord, there's no reason to not just host your own images.

Didn't get it all, but the person that gave me this, seemed like a real collector, you can see some games in the background of the pictures. But he was initially selling the lot of 21 games, without the tins, etc. For $100. He mentioned a possible trade, and that's where it started. From the first picture got escape from monkey island, diablo II and tribes 2. I also got a rainbow six collector's edition silver box, but it's in worse condition than I thought. Oh well, can't win it all.

So that's what I got. What did I give up in trade you ask, only 3 games. Star Wars Shadows of The Empire new and sealed in box with some slight damage, command & conquer domination pack with box and sealed soundtrack, and zax the alien hunter in box. At what I would have made from them, about $190 - $200 no doubt. Will I make more, planning on keeping a few to my collection. Like I have a new indy game cuz I sold my old mac one, sold my old monkey island, got this one lol. I'm weird, but I can't collect for too long. He mentioned some of the games from the 21 games: don't have paperwork or manuals or something, but all games are there. Would you have done this, or am I the hoarder like trader, getting quantity over quality and now have way more work to do, and my mom should kill me for the space it'll take up lol

Forgot to mention he also tossed in Warcraft II expansion for mac in box. I guess in terms of that, I prob did get the better deal. The deal for $100 made me go, maybe I'd like it. So not paying anything is a good deal in my opinion, but will I make $200 or more AND keep some things like warcraft II mac, escape from monkey island, diablo II, tribes II, and rainbow six gold if I don't keep the big collector's. Maybe, maybe not. My work for a collection, watch my collection go in a few years, or this will also be a side gig that I'll love to buy, sell and even now trade lol

To be fair, I kinda treat games like scrolls. Some you know what they cast. Some are unknown, and until the time passes, that's when they'll be picking up value. I go by titles, and that's prob too many games to keep. I don't know if I want to keep the monkey island, as it was kinda cartoony, the game, when I played it. Fun, but def a dif game than the previous ones. But I guess I gotta make a bigger collection. My collection is small, mostly of various adventure anthologies, etc new and sealed that are worth prob what I got them at lol. 2 smaller shelves, and one below filled with nba new games from ea. Sold the hockey ones. Not much of a collection anymore. If I had a job and put a good collection, never sold the stuff I had, and had money to buy more. I'd be saying it's my retirement lol

Was too lazy to go pick up a cib Samurai Jack Shadow Of Aku on Playstation 2 cib someone posted on fb marketplace for $8 and someone else got it. Goes for $50 easy.

All of my local Goodwills have majorly jacked prices up. I have seen $20 blurays.

Someone is researching prices online and pricing them based on ... something. Sold eBay auctions maybe?

Even dvds have crazy high prices.

Yeah that yahoo protect plus home plan for $15 a month and $99 per incident protects all the electronics/appliances in the home. Just gotta wait 30 calendar days before your first claim

The Yahoo Plus Protect Mobile plan has is $5 and $50 per incident and covers internals of the smartphone and front glass/screen, but not back glass cosmetic issues

Went home for Christmas but before any of that fun, I stopped off at an estate sale. Guy was a big sci-fi fan, but by the time I got there a lot of stuff was claimed and people were scanning away. I had to get going so I just grabbed a bunch of stuff and went to pay. Paid $178 for everything. 4K are sealed, Westworld and Austin Powers sets are for me. Always wanted to see the show. Everything looks amazing, just dusty.

Popped into a thrift store and got all the games in the second photo for $20 - most are complete, a couple have a ring scratch, but don't seem too deep.

Already had the grey stand, it didn't come with the system.

Seems like someone was angry at their kids or something...it was sitting in a pile of bulk trash (cardboard boxes et al), and the games are hardly anything to write home about, the most expensive title was the Barrel Blast (~$16 CIB on PriceCharting), though I know it was a kid's system because all the discs are scratched (some worse than others, but Barrel Blast doesn't even read past the main menu screen...). Everything works tho, disc drive and all, which is what I was worried about when I picked it up. Thought the worst case would be for parts and such, lol.

The good news is, I was able to test my copy of Fragile Dreams finally, lol. It works, for those of you who were on the fence about getting it as disc only.

Wii is available to anyone who wants a Wii. Complete w/ setups and 2 WiiMotes (WiiMote Plus, I think?) w/ Nunchucks, they are the ones that operate on 2x AA batteries. I just want to give it a good home, since I'm not really one for Nintendo consoles. Rescued a system that would've otherwise gone to the waste dump.

Well this is nothing compared to Porksta's estate finds... but I found something really weird at the Amazon returns store today.

This. Sealed, for $2 plus taxes. I grabbed it immediately. The discs and art appear to be legit, I popped in the Bluray in my PC and it recognized it as one, so I'm not sure what's up with this. But this is legitimately one of my favorite horror B-movies. After all, it's not every day you hear Frosty the Snowman say raunchy jokes about women or complain how the people he kills taste funny.

Top row of games were $4 each. Keeping Battlefield, may keep Outlast - haven't decided if I want to keep my sealed copy.
Dirty Harry was $1, calculator was $6, everything else priced as marked. A Goodwill opened up in my parent's town (because they need a 10th thrift store) but video games are $6 (plus that damn 10% sales tax) - thankfully my mom got a senior discount of 20%.

DVD was $2 at a thrift store, everything else was $16 at a pawn shop. You all said 1917 was a great movie so let's find out.

@Porksta, are any of those PS3 controllers a Six Axis by chance? I could use one to replace my long-dead 60GB pack-in.

All four are. Just need to test them out to make sure there is no drift and hold a charge.

That's what I got for $50. It was pending, and than pending some more, so I inquired again, spoke some Polish cuz his name seemed to ring it, and he was like, I'm prob even worse at polish than you, cuz my spelling sucks I sound it out lol. Anyways, he did mention it was pending due to a friend wanting to pick it up, but his friend isn't even from Toronto, and he's got a way to say something, than you know how it goes, you're stuck holding it forever. He just wanted to declutter. Half life 2 and it's expansion episode one is sealed, those were the 2 only new and sealed games. I take it fallout tactics, alien vs. predator 2 and both rollercoaster tycoons will make for it being worthwhile. Not too far at all of a drive, prob one of the closer rides, but had to stop for a phone call and return at the mall. Was debating putting the half life's into my collection, but I dunno. Not sealed in original boxes, haha, this isn't like winning the lottery. More gas to the cause, and more wares to sell at fair prices for those interested I guess, but I put my better stuff on ebay, and was thinking, would I get more with a local interested party but I price it fair. Maybe an idea to put more of the better stuff locally and get cash in hand for it. All good, I'm gaming through this reality. Won some papa roach tickets, it's time to go to a show! lol

Nice guy, don't know why he had a command and conquer game in french, couple of uk ones in there, but even still, the fallout trilogy will still net at least $10, maybe $20, didn't check. The sealed half lives, selling, just kept both witchers for my collections, one I had, but the Can with french with one less disc, keeping the us one that I got, selling the Can release. Also keeping solder of fortune II. So keeping 3 games, but keeping 1 over the other, so only 2. And that shelf is filled, nothing really, will dive in it when all these other games sell lol.

I like nice big boxes, but I won an alien vs. predator shirt that is too tight for me, got that message when I was in Jamaica, from a contest win, but it was a voucher I coulda banked on, still kinda did for the remainder but def a good time lol. The new half lifes, I'm a full life, the title coulda been better. Not Yet Parted with a sequel Half Reign. Nah, those are way worse, keep it simple, I got no idea, lol. Fallout Tactics, since I long ago departed with it, I'll also depart from it lol. Rollercoaster tycoons, never really liked sim games, I was an adventure game nerd, with some action games to keep the pace up, even on ps3, not just comp. Than got a mac, played diablo III, that was pretty much the last game I remember playing on the computer.
