What's Caltron worth nowadays? Such a terrible game.

That's crazy to me. When I was collecting years ago it was worth around that much. Everything else skyrocketed in price though. I bought a Little Samson for $50 and a Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak for $200 around 10 years ago when I was collecting then a couple years ago sold them both for around $700 and Caltron has just stayed the same price.

Rare games that are also really good seem to have taken an uptick more than simply rare. If anyone's ever played little Sampson it's actually a fantastic game. Great level design, graphics, controls. Music is good only down side is as you switch back and fourth between characters the only music that changes is the characters theme music but it's a really good, really fun game and hard to find. These types of games seem to increase with more regularity than just simply rare ones.

People just pretend Caltron doesn't exist and doesn't "count" because it's unlicensed. It's the same reason Myriad doesn't cost like $10,000. A blessing to anyone who cares about them IMO smiley:::raspberry

Cosmos Cop is actually a pretty fun game. I enjoyed that one more than the others.

It went up in price but a few years ago, there was a crap ton found at a warehouse in Mexico that were still sealed which tanked its value.

It depends. My brother sold his Yakuza 2 a week before the restock happened.

Isn't there a guy somewhere that has a box of sealed copies?

Another idea for a podcast subject.

That's actually kind of awesome that ESPN released an article about video game collecting.

If the people who get these distinctly outlandishly fortuitous finds could just keep it to themselves about where they make their purchases, there would be more chances for deals to be had. But nooooo, they HAVE to mention that they purchased it at Goodwill. And not just at Goodwill, but a particular Goodwill in a particular town. Criminy jeepers.......
