Summary

A amateur adventure game (freeware) made using the AGS engine. Graphics and sound are not very up-to-date, but this is a very well done horror point-and-click adventure.

Description

I envy the West, where some amateur game makers do a good job. Sometimes, they make a masterpiece or an unusual game which can't be made by major companies. However, I never expected to see such a good 'horror' adventure game from independent AGS developer.

Brief Story: Our main character, Trilby, is a gentleman but a thief. One day he enters an old house, which should be empty due to the death of the former owner, but yet there are some people inside, and, strangely, no one can escape.

Due to the limitation of the AGS engine, the graphics are not very good and the sound is so-so. Also, the plot has some blank points. Some puzzles are not solved easily, which I think is due to bad puzzle design. Also, the space is too small even for an independent adventure. However, the atmosphere is awesome! This dark atmosphere makes up for the game's defects.

Even if you are not interested in independent games at all, I think this game is worth a play. Don't wait, just go.
