I purchased laptop inventory earlier this year of a few local companies. I've been fixing them up in my spare time. I have a few systems ready to go and can post photos upon request. Condition-wise, these are all B-Grade units. Expect marks to outer casing/bezels but fully functional units. The SSD drives have been purchased new since January of this year. The companies I purchased these from had Windows 10 on these systems but had the drives pulled/destroyed to comply with insurance purposes. I've been replacing the drives and clean installing Windows 10.

Dell Latitude E5430
-- 15" Widescreen Display
-- Intel Core i5 Processor
-- 4GB Ram DDR3 (add $20 for 8GB)
-- Webcam, Bluetooth
-- 120GB SSD (random name brand - Kingston, SanDisk, Crucial, PNY)
-- DVDRW Optical Drive
-- Windows 10 Pro 64bit
-- Dell battery with unknown capacity (not brand new but not giving a replacement warning)
-- Dell brand AC Adapter
-- Laptop carry case

$130 shipped.

I can customize these a bit based on your needs. Need a bigger SSD/new battery/2nd drive instead of optical drive? I can do that and only charge for part cost. Docks are also available but usually weigh more than their worth. All doable though.

Drop me a line if your interested in seeing one of these. Primarily looking to sell, but I will consider trading these. Shipping is within the continental US (Canada/Hawaii/PR might be slightly more).

If you're a reseller or want to build/refurbish your own system, I can sell you discounted systems without drives as well. I have enough that I probably won't get to fixing all these units. I have a bunch of Core 2 Duo and Athlon X2 Dell Latitude systems available for cheap as well.

How well does that E5430 run? Like a more recent machine with the i5 and ssd?

It boots quickly. Here's some screenshots (for the 2nd listed unit above, I have a bunch of these with same specs)

SSD brand may differ. I revolve between Kingston, Crucial, PNY, Sandisk.

I've used Latitudes at work for 7 years now. They give me a new one every few years. I abuse the heck out of them, and they keep running.

My typical use is 8-10 hours a day of heavy use, then it bumps around in my car trunk when not in use. We do get the higher end $1500+ models, but I think the whole series is decent. I've had $3k Sony Vaios crap out on me after a year of use.

They're solid systems, especially new models with SSDs. Vaio's are pretty well known for failing. I see them in my shop every other month. Same with Acer.

Genuine Windows 10 Pro digital rights license. Previous owners bought these with Windows 7 Pro but upgraded to 10. I wiped and installed 10 fresh.

I'll check on cpu, the stickers on hardware only say i5.

Is the Wifi chip user accessible? I am very interested in one if I can put an intel 7260 in it.

How much to add a second drive caddy in place of the dvd drive?

Is the windows key saved on the motherboard? in which case, I reinstall, will the windows installation still validate?

It's associated with the bios. As for wireless, I'll check. Should be easy to swap.

Just out of curiosity, do you know how much it would be putting a 1tb SSD in?

I'll check but it might be a bit overkill for these units. These don't make good gaming systems for example.

I have two additional systems I'm preparing.

-- Dell Inspiron, 15" display, core i5, 8gb ram, 120GB SSD SanDisk, Dvdrw, Windows 10 Pro. This is newer then the Latitudes by a few years. $150

-- Lenovo N22 80S6
Celeron N3050 cpu, 11.6" display, 4GB ram, 32gb emmc storage, Windows 10. This system should have never shipped with Windows 10. Since its not upgradable, you update Windows once or twice and the drive is full. I converted it to a Chrome book via Cloudready OS. I can install whatever you like though. $100

Nah not gaming, just the massive amount of music I burn over to the computer from my cd collection.
