Who's at that prerelease? Who got that Boar God yo? (He did big work for me) Be on the look for Karn, Karn's Bastion and Emergence Zone totally fudging crap up on the EDH front playable in all decks. Dovin's Veto and the Scry 4 Draw 2 (Tamiyo's Epiphany) are totally amazing. Kaya's Ghostform hottest common in the world and going to bring that mono black aggro and rakdos gang gang up to speed. Massacre Girl on that return of the early 2000's art swag and flavor. Anybody notice how MaRo fudging slipped banding back in? (Band Together) Probably most esoteric card in Spark. Get to tappin' doges, Y'all don't know crap about my collection of over 500 Cardboard Carapaces.

Man I always wanted to get into magic the gathering. Just requires a sink of cash.

Arena is great and free (though you can pay money).

I play on LackeyCCG but obviously it's a legal issue. I just like the idea of going to my game shop and doing drafts. Can someone explain to me what the cost of playing this game would be? I could see myself getting hyped about new sets and stuff.

I'm currently playing Duels on Steam. Was stupidly addicted to Arena as well and would alternate between both games but I recently uninstalled it and haven't had any regrets since. Duels is kinda relaxing and a good type of game to wind down with. Arena is much faster paced. But the client is undeniably very good, and arguably far superior to Duels.

If you simply want to draft irl then it's just the cost of draft although you'd want some sleeves as well. But then it becomes a mystery what you're supposed to do with the cards afterwards unless you keep a trade binder or something.

Back in 1998 I ran with a white / black living death deck. Nasty.

Haven't played since 1998 but looking back direct damage red was a no brainer.
