* 28-Aug-2022(#1)One of my Microsoft perks is massively discounted Microsoft software and hardware (25-90% off).
Every fiscal year (starting July 1st), I get 15 spots to invite others to get my discounts - only on software unfortunately. This includes $14 o365, $20 o365 family, $50 2 year XBL ($30 for 1), $10 Windows licensing, 50% + on select digital games, along with other Microsoft products as well.
Two best ones I'd recommend on the software end:
- $80 for 3 years XBL then activate the $1 Game Pass Ultimate trial. $81 for 3 years of GPU!
- Stack 5 years (max) of o365 family for $100!
Post if interested. Will keep open for a week or so then throw names into a random generator. You get a $250 allowance (on the discounted prices), including $5 off your first purchase. You can use as you see fit for yourself or others.
Only requirement I'll put on eligibility is having a GTZ subscription. Please continue to support @Bill and the site! Next reset, will repeat and let 5 new people in. I may have more spots to give away this FY as well, but will save for a later date.

28-Aug-2022(#2)This is pretty cool of you to share here. I'll throw my name in the bowl. Not exactly sure what I'd want at the moment as I'm nearly maxed out on GPU and have no need for Office or Windows licenses.

No worries!
Heck, if you look, being next to me made people lucky! Here was the list in that section:
ryanflucas (Winner)
Justin (Winner - and after he wins, moves ryan right next to me)
John
Scott (Winner)
You're all welcome!

5-Sep-2022(#33)Awesome, thanks!
I'm going to buy a powerball ticket and take John along for that +10 luck proximity bonus (and split the winnings).

If anyone has $80 left I need xbl.

9-Nov-2022(#41)I've not had a chance to use it yet, but probably will with the holidays coming up soon. I'll let you know if I run into any problems
I'm willing to share it with others here, I definitely won't hit the $250 allowance.
Oh, I do have 1 question...you said it works on select digital games. Is that typically just AAA games, or would it work on random XBLA type games, like Tunic, for example?

That's awesome of you to share Scott, hope the others do as well if they don't use the full allotment! You simply buy codes, and can share with others!
Yeah once you login, you'll see the games. The list is a bit small, it's really only the MSFT studio games, but some great prices out there.

Aye, ya missed out ... but is it still working even with the $15 path? Still an insane deal as you can get 3 years of XBL for $80 with my discount. If it's only $15 to upgrade for 3 years, still crazy worth it!

Thanks. I wanted to upgrade Office but I have multiple computers and prefer software.

Office 365 enables local install, and 5 machines per subscription. A family subscription enables 6 family members too... So 30 installs.
Traditional office is dead. Retail options will be shut off at some point.

* 20-Apr-2023(#62)I thought you could only get yearly subscriptions at retail now. I haven't seen any permanent option in a long time.

30-Apr-2023(#66)So, the most Live Gold you can have is 36 months, right? They won't let you redeem more than that, it appears.
I currently have like 3 months of Gold left. I want to do the Ultimate trick (which will cost me $15 for a 1-month to convert it all). So I'm buying a 24-month from the store -- that will take me to 27 months.
They don't sell a 6-month Gold in the store currently. But they do have a 6-month Ultimate. So, I think I'll just buy that -- which will take me to 33 months total Ultimate after the conversion.
Also, when I'm done with this, I'm not sure there is much else that I need from the Store. Should I just buy up some 24-month Live Gold codes and resell them at cost to people here? Anyone looking for anything specific?
longhornsk57
30-Apr-2023(#67)How much are you getting the 24 month live gold codes for?

I was mistaken -- no 6-month Ultimate. I'll do something different and end up closer to 28-months. Still fine.

If you do this I could use some xbox live also. I think i pmed you about it a while back

* 4-May-2023(#74)I have nothing as of right now, I'll do the max if you can spare it
John
* 4-May-2023(#76)Just to clarify, I double-checked the math -- here are the options that make sense:
$50 - 24-months Gold (from the Company Store) $30 - 12-months Gold (from the Company Store) $15 - 1-month Ultimate (normal/retail) ---- $95 for 36 months (you only get 36 because that is the hard limit) = ~$2.64/month |
$50 - 24-months Gold (from the Company Store) $23 - 3 month Ultimate (from the Company Store) ---- $73 for 28 months (you get 1 bonus month during signup) = ~$2.59/month |
I can't think of any other options that make sense. The second one is a slightly better deal per month, but only lasts 28 months. The first one is the best if you want 3 full years.
Note that you have to add 6% tax to all of that.
