Does anyone know where to get boxes that store video games? Something like these would work but they're about $8 overpriced I think: https://www.containerstore.com/s/collections/media...

I need a bunch of them, or one that can store more dvd sized cases than that. anyone have recommendations?

$10 for a container? jesus.

just go to Home Depot and buy a huge plastic container for 7 and put all of your DVDs in them.

Go find a thrift store and take a look.

If it's going to make you happier with your collection, my advise is to get whatever works best. I find that keeping things neat and organized is typically worth the cost. These work out to adding $.18 to the cost of each CD or $.37 to the cost of each DVD.

PS: Besides functionality, my next most important criteria is making sure it's a product that will continue to be available in the future.

I'm not using them for my collection they would be for storing inventory. all the average plastic containers from a thrift store have curved sides so they don't store games as well. but I will probably be cheap and just get some from a thrift

A 17L Really Useful Box is a perfect fit for 40 DVDs. Combined with 20% off and free shipping at Office Depot it's a slightly better deal per DVD than your link, although still pretty pricey. It's also a perfect fit for CDs 3 across. https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/659275/Real....

RUB also has a longbox that holds 50 DVDs in a single row, but it's twice expensive and OD doesn't carry it.

That 17l RUB laughing out loud looks really well built for stuff like this. I might have to buy one or two.

Do you have one of these DefaultGen?

Yeah I have a bunch. You can stack them sky high and they're stable, but I just shove them under furniture in my garage.

I actually bought two last night (and some BIC pens to make it $25.25). They seem like good storage regardless, and I needed some more pens anyways.
