Yeah, you should if you want to get married or sail/run away. This life is pretty normal, it gets better in time. I've always been an entrepreneur of sorts, making my own bucks, but it's never been self sufficient. But to rewind the day totally, just to get paid and than rush through the internet city. Nah, see I'm a gamer, I want an adventure, the big time. It always ends up as a paused ritual.

I've been around too long to think working all day makes any sense to your life. I have a medical condition, and get government subsidy, don't know if that's call being retired from the army, or from the drill of life lol. Than I enter contests which pretty much every unemployed person does. Than I buy and sell games. I'm looking for another hobby, but the way I've been looking, it's going to have to be something substantial.

The rush for life is to either get the girl you want, or to run around the lap of life and park yourself into what you think the world is, what apparently everyone wants. I'm not so gullible, I tried for the tops and only seen myself sliding. Not sliding anymore, but after so many so called bumps, it seems I'm just taking it easy. No rush. lol. And if this world is to make sense, initially I was still chosen prob not to have a role in this life. I don't know if it's a favor from above or not, but I'm willing to let it be lol

People that talk too much money don't have the prose to keep themselves entertained. Than they obviously cater to their lives by adding. If you added the world 1 + 1 you'd never get the real fact. Same with this world, it really is an inner working for a vending machine, and the rest is life giving it some life. Not complaining, just woke up, but in terms of working, I am working now too, just as I've always really done. Maybe one day I'll find karma on a lottery ticket I don't buy , haha, yeah right and spoil myself and fall into the R.I.P wave.

To add now that I'm more awake and more smoked - might be making even less sense than (now) - mean - before lol

I guess the world means we're all kids. We might be kids forever, that doesn't mean we don't grow up. I don't even believe much in family, other than a picture in picture lock of this world for you from the pie piece you're centered upon. I had to fight for my right to party. That doesn't mean going through a bit of crazy or insane times to get to wisdom, spinning the wheel the other way, getting cornered by the genius of pinkie against your very own brain of wanting something from this vending machine world. It's all what you equate it as. I know what I need, I don't want too much. Guess I gotta love more to think I want something, but the next day is usually a different ballpark with a different game altogether. Though with routine, we all get encycled in a life with not enough sporadic-ity or -ness. Sporadicity, rolling the dice, to getting paid back on loans, to a world that works as a whole, and if trying to be the lone hero you face the same preset as a king or god would. That doesn't mean we don't want some control over this set-in of reality. Even though most of us would have to be dormant to adapt to a life without trying to make it your own, we all went through a cycle that wrapped us into this world whether we knew these choices would be the world later we're in, or just the whole concept and the main talking concepts. But it seems we sync in with tvs and computers, and this reality doesn't change as much as these things would. Though if you're around, what really changes that much on the tv or comp anyways. This life is kinda melodramatic, but it gets better everyday, and we're all climbing to feel better, that becoming alright, and it happening over and over. Small steps, want some leaps, but chill and trying to just enjoy. It's summer after all, wish I could say that it could be anytime of the year, but we get it cold with the 4 seasons lol

Forge your own path, man. Life is too short to follow someone else's recipe for life.

I just beg of you to be one of the nice resellers. I have way too too many not nice resellers in my area and it's really tough to deal with.

Yeah, I just noticed Might & Magic VII doesn't have the game, and the game dvds to the warcraft collector's edition are missing. I mentioned it, but won't want money back. It might be a $40 - $50 loss, but I checked the destiny of spear and it looks nice, little damage to the side of the upc, looks like it kinda ripped a bit there, but it's got the 3 discs. Sometimes it's hard to make money, sometimes you make good deals, but I only rarely overprice an item. I try to give back to collector's and gamers and do it cheaper than most. That doesn't mean I shortchange myself, I just have no nostalgia for most of these things. I recall when I used to drink 40 beers in a day, and heard voices, like they're looking for you, and when I saw a helicopter, I'd remove my shoes and walk through the creek or river lol. I'm glad I'm not playing video games in life or being in a gamer reality, but I tend to think there's an adventure yet to have, and until it leads to paradise with my life still in hand, I won't be satisfied. But I take every day as a blessing, even though I feel timed out here, like you gotta do something, put forth the effort, than reap the reward. Sometimes it all seems to work on a clockwork and you want out of all strings. No real strings, just the only way to live life, I guess. Something to put me over would have to be like a dream coming to life and me tripping through it conscious I guess in this reality. No need for that, got meds, and going for the good life, but I am sometimes a little hard, since my mother tries to boss me around with when I should eat, or how much I smoke, or never to smoke inside lol

PS: I guess I'm a pretty good reseller. I post some things I can't pick up sometimes on a local contest forum. Seems there, some people may need to make a few bucks. Though contests are fun, and I share a lot. But initially I played, than shared and played. I guess with reselling, I already learned to treat some repeat customers with better prices. Even some new guys, I may sometimes slash my prices. But it seems for pc games, if they're not on ebay, they may idle for a while. Got lots listed, like today, a dude said do you meet across town, I was like the game is like $5, come on. lol

I would say maybe I'd want Stalin- under GRAD to study war, partner with artemis, and than break off war only to free himself of all concepts, get a place in oblivion, take the electric grid of water and float some paper boats and put boats as cabs on a line with air support and just transport that way, forgo flight and perfect it in cars, you know, something to make this world reach an end, than a beginning, but where was the middle, right all throughout earth, some futuristic nonsense that would make fun of all these so called biographies or based on real life concepts...meh, just tripping

I guess if it was a spin off of anakin, and he went back to the future. Where technology is still stale and there's no real horsepower apart from the people arking in to the energy and doing some computer work cuz all people that think they're doing life are just conforming. I expect more, but that's just a random thought I'm trying to align back into some reason that's just drifting off me as I'm here lol. I have a tendency to overwrite or just start talking.

Like today, I said what if we were in the clouds, any motion, any threading, we'd move. Now, with water, we punch and kick lol. What's this land really good for, nurturing us, than turning us like a seed back for some supposed reincarnation when there is no parking in heaven lol

Dunno. I'm not a reseller. What I buy goes into my collections. Every once in a long while I'll see something at a flea market that I know I can get some cash on, so I'll pick it up and resell it so that it covers whatever I bought at the flea that week.

I've got a lot of crap in my collection that I need to thin out, but that's different. I see the "hardcore" resellers at my local flea markets or thrift shops and they are always just so rude and mean. Spitting venom. Pushing people out of the way. If how you make your living makes you so sour and mean to other people, it's time to rethink how you are living your life. Because there is no need to be a dick to others. I get the buy low/sell high mentality, but don't be an butt-hole to other people.

$71. Yes, that IS Final Fantasy VI sitting atop Johnny Depp. The prices at this sale were not what I'd hoped, but the guy was willing to haggle. So I dropped FFVI from $65 to 50, and Advance Wars from $20 to 15. He didn't have a price for Advance Wars initially, and it hurt watching him look up the going rate. If I'd offered him $7 like I wanted, he still would've looked up the real value and probably would've been more hostile toward my other offers. So I grinned and bared it.

$50 Craigslist deal.
Seller had individual prices between $3-15 on every game. I inquired about a few of them, but also asked for a price to buy them all. Seller said he'd like to sell all at once and named his price of $50.

So, I doubt it works and this place clearly is selling bad games on purpose since they paid something in trade-in.

This will probably be my last time wasting money here. Even their "expensive" case is terrible. They sell games at CIB prices with water-damaged manuals. Look at a 1-disc dual case game and the disc was just rolling around cause the CD holder was busted so they don't even replace anything on the expensive stuff.

Not even sure I want to waste my time returning this trash, as I'd only get store credit to get something else.

I'm mad that it's most likely unplayable, but not shocked given every time I've been to this place.

Actually had some good Father's Day finds this weekend! Been a while since I've brought home a nice retro Nintendo lot. The 360 games were $5 each and the Nintendo lot was $35. The Nintendo stuff was pretty dirty and needed some love, but so far I've gotten them all working and mostly cleaned up. The Zelda games need new batteries and the SNES needs a new power jack and honestly could use a reshell, but hopefully I can grab a junked SNES from a buddy t salvage some parts.

If you see people with multiple sports titles, it's almost a certainty that they're reselling to some extent...I see at least a couple of NBA 2K 18's and 20's there. Who buys multiple of the same sports title for the same system?

I'm on vacation and swung into a consignment shop and spotted the smaller PlayStation One model with the LCD screen attachment. It was priced at $20. When you go into these kind of shops that don't typically sell video games, you need to keep your eyes peeled for the more esoteric items that you don't normally come across, because chances are the shop most likely doesn't know how rare they are either and won't do their research to price them accordingly.

got this for $20 today. Fallout tactics in box is the only champion for this effort. I had one, but sold it cheap. Now I see it's valuable again. I took off my mint disc only with the inserts without the actual jewel case off, as I can switch them up. to add to the story, I actually shared this deal somewhere I hang out online sometimes lol, and it got pended up. After a while, I noticed it was still pending, and I said I won't bother. Than I see it's not pending, but available, so I said, should I, I thought I wouldn't but than said, might as well.

Shared a space quest II in box pc game on discs with 3.5 and 5.25. With shipping, I still would have made money, but thought someone local might take it and see what this is about. Also left a new game idling in London, ON, but no previous sales of this game new and sealed means people are prob wary. Or no one from around there in the forum lol. Haven't tried to find too many new deals of late, been enjoying summer, but I think I got too high. Now I need to smoke less and get my priorities back. Ah, it's summer, taking it kinda easy, but no money from sales, means the fun has to yield more lol, consumption to consume and be on the spinwheel, but what you love to do, I guess you find a way to do and enjoy it

Kid scored a find. Went fishing at a local lake, I caught a bass, kids didn't get anything. Took them to another lake, and again the kids didn't get anything. One toughed it out while the others went to the nearby park. A teenager came by a little while later asking the usual fishing small talk. Turns out he was part of a youth fishing foundation giving away gear in the hopes of getting more kids "hooked" on fishing. Gave my kid a tackle box with some gear.

I initially turned him down as I recently gave my my kid his first "grown up" tackle box and figured some other kid could use it, but after explaining what they do, seeing it was more than just the box (my kid was short on the basics in that kit), there was no one else fishing today, and the look on my kid's face I accepted. Thanked him, both my kid and I did. Glad to see things like this.

I remember my first tackle box. I picked it out, paid for it with my own money, and despite owning much bigger, more expensive tackle boxes I still use it to this day for the kayak or on quick trips.

Will probably give the tackle box he got to one of his friends that doesn't have one and fill it with some gear.

Giving them some love:

Pictured below are the things specifically for me, on which I spent about $10. The folks I grabbed the GBA from were also selling a Sony Aibo robot dog with a bunch of software modules, and the husband's initial thought on price was $500. Seemed crazy to me at first, but based on some research maybe not that crazy? Apparently they're quite expensive.

Anyone looking for NES, NEO GEO AES, or Genesis games? I'm heading to a garage sale tomorrow that has plenty, and I'd be willing to buy (with reimbursement) or trade the ones I don't care about.

Hit me up before 9 am if interested.

Considering he's openly showing off bootleg NES and Genesis games, including translation patched games on cart, I wouldn't be surprised if those Neo games are anything but legit too.

The only thing I need is a couple of zip floppies but looking at the stuff he has he'll probably ask for like five bucks each or something. And nope.

Probably someone who isn't educated about games and doesn't know what they have, except for "shinies" (aka, games that people may like).

On the contrary; I think he DOES know the kind of things he has. This looks like a genuine collection to me. But it also makes me think he's going to downplay the... legitimacy of the carts.

@Foxhack Yeah I get 0% chance of a deal vibes here as well. Ran into a similar thing at a "garage sale" this year which was just a guy that runs an eBay store trying to unload his broken junk and suspect items that he didn't feel comfortable selling on eBay for obvious reasons. Lol.

We'll see, I guess. My mom has a clown gig (she's a professional birthday clown) in the area, so I'm hitching a ride to check the place out. Zelda II has probably sold by now, but oh well. He wouldn't tell me any prices online, which is a red flag.

The NEO GEO games appeared to be real (there were even Pocket Color imports). They were $100 or greater, with one going for a whopping $850. Haggling was an option, but in this case, I'm not touching that with a 10-foot pole. Zelda II sold unfortunately, and Wily Wars was $55 for what appeared to be a reproduction. Noooo thanks.

I'm tempted to take a picture.

I got this in a trade on another site. It has the Fenrir ODE installed. I'm generally not a fan of flash carts and backups, but then I had the epiphany that I could use this to easily play games that were never officially translated on original hardware. This morning I put Policenauts, the Shining Force III trilogy, Sakura Wars, etc. on it, and they work like a charm in English!

@Yoshi Curious to see what you think of Policenauts. I loved Snatcher but Policenauts didn't have the same magic for me.

Sakura Wars is great, and I highly recommend Dragonforce 2 as well. love

@Gypsy Dragon Force II is on there as well! I haven't played Snatcher since the 1990s, so Policenauts will have to measure up to nostalgia, which is dangerous.

It's easier for someone who knows that to fool a clueless buyer into thinking they have something valuable.

When I walked into GameStop to buy two colorful Joy-Cons, I found a befuddled parent attempting to trade in a white Wii U GamePad and a cyan 3DS. They wouldn't accept either, so I asked what he wanted for the GamePad--I don't need any more 3DSes, especially when I already own a cyan one, and I went there to buy expensive Joy-Cons. Neither of us knew the precise value of the thing, so when he asked for $20, I agreed. I'm willing to bet it's worth more than that, but I still gave him more than GameStop would've if they HAD accepted it. I could've saved him a trip to another game shop if I'd asked about the 3DS, but I already stated why I didn't do that.

GamePad is in decent shape, but is missing the stylus and more importantly, the console itself. In the immortal words of Yin-Yarn, "Not sure what I'll do with it, but I'll figure something out."

@SupremeSarna I could use a better condition white wii u game pad actually...

I got a white system including a gamepad for dirt cheap but it's all in really rough condition.

Normally GameStop frowns upon people doing that in-store...surprised they didn't boot you out for doing that.

The employee didn't seem to object. He was suggesting a few local businesses that would probably buy them, which I suspect is also against GameStop's policy.

My guess is he either just didn't care or since they couldn't accept it anyways was fine with that happening in store.

While I'm tempted to resell it, I like the idea of piecing together a white Wii U to give to my brother's family someday. My nieces will get sick of SD Wii graphics someday. raspberry

No worries, appreciate the reply at least.
