Why not just buy 2 disc versions? At least that way you can sell them both, where digital its a total waste of money.

Where did you guys here these are low print? I've been searching but haven't seen anything. I bought a copy just incase it does get hard to find.

Same. Odur is a big roadblock but once I got over him every other boss besides the final boss took 3 tries max. There's also a weird glitch/probably a math error with a potion to get max level real fast.

I did a super cheap run and poke for the tutorial boss. Not having any skills really make parrying harder.

I hard quit the game after death to him and restarted It was a fast scum type restart at the fight but no health or potions- practiced it until I actually beat him that way. Really couldn't believe it because I went from getting him to about half to flawless in about an hour.

I thought Dishonored 2 was a much better game than Deathloop, and the Deathloop storyline really didn't do it for me. (The ending particularly.) However, the gameplay is pretty fun in Deathloop. (It was fun enough that I beat it.). I agree that it's not that difficult, although some of the trophies are tough.

I started Devil May Cry 5, but it's not really grabbing me. Maybe it will get better as it goes on, but fighting a bunch of nothing enemies isn't jiving with me after playing Elden Ring.

I was a little too tired to play anything too crazy tonight, so I switched gears completely to Tinykin, and it is a delight so far. It's kind of like an indoor Pikmin but without combat or time pressure. Really polished with good level design that is smart about directing you to "secret" areas. It's free on Gamepass if you guys have that.

I gave up on DMC 5 early on as well (finished all the predscessors). Not sure if it was the cheese, the rinse and repeat, or the same old gameplay, but just didn't grab me. I want to give it a try again but doubtful that'll happen.

I get that you stick to a formula that works, but when I'm using the same combo I did in the original PS2 game it feels a little stale. I think this counts as blasphemy in some circles, but I strongly preferred DmC to the rest of the series.

Yeah, I loved it back in the day... Tried the 2nd and have not played one since.

I think I remember the same being with Onimusha. Loves the first but lost interest after.... Though that is one game I am eager to try again, it's been so long.

This Sound of the Abyss (Tremor wanna-be) has the easiest/dumbest phase 1, but then phase 2 ... I feel like I go full-retard and get 1 shot (3x now). Clearly missing something.

Yeah, Sound of the Abyss was annoying. Not sure what the deal with phase 2 is, but once you survive it's an instant kill for phase 2.

The fact that it's a bit repetitive is good for the short play time, it's a nice balance.

Agreed. I RARELY ever go back and do the trophy thing ... I just like to enjoy what time I put in and move on. Unless they're actually relevant to story, worthwhile, fun, or challenging. Nonsense grinding for the sake of a check box, not so fun.

Sounds like Ben's doing his "I'm better than you for not playing some games a little longer for Trophies/Achievements "

I'll play games to the end and call it quits sometimes. I'll do Platinums/Achievements sometimes too. Add an hour to get more Trophies/Achievements? Sure, maybe. Add 10-50 hours and it's pure grinding/monotony? I'll just beat it and move on.

Trophies/Achievements are cool cause they can add replay value to something you might not normally replay. If you're into that.

Anyone else us PS Remote Play? My home network is quite rock solid, as is my ISP. I played through all of DS3 from my PC, without a single hiccup.

With Thymesia, I get occasional stutters, and complete disconnects. Mid fighting last boss ... and completely locked up, fun.

Not sure if it's the PS, Network, or game.

The last Thymesia trophy I earned was by far the most satisfying part of the experience. Sometimes the trophies let you see things you would have missed. Honestly one of my biggest gripes with ER is the trophy set- it doesn't require you to experience some of the best story lines to get a platinum. No sir.

I use remote play a lot. I never get disconnects but it really isn't that amazing. The bottom of my screen is usually blurry a lot. Xbox's remote play APP is way better. When I played Thymesia it wasn't that great, especially for bosses.

Because I get to read all about it here every time someone does it. Either bragging about getting a plat or whining about the suffering they must endure to get one.

Achevements/Trophies are the craptier no-developer-effort version of unlockable stuff.

If you're a FF fan it's ok to see the classes etc. It is a soulsborne / looter though. It gets pretty hard at some bosses and endgame so you'll want to summon other players. It's basically a team (you control / have a party of 3) based Nioh with lower production values. Tons of loots.
