Surge came out today. so far not bad. very nioh and bloodborn feel as in fast combat. switching limbs takes some getting used to.
Phantom Dust remaster is supposed to be out today for free.
injustice came out today as well. grabbed that on my ps4 though,

ive been expecting word of FF7 remake coming to Xbox as well, this could be that announcement.

I did a similar thing.
Got my One X, then bought 3 years of Gold for $120, then turned that into GPU. So it's about $3 a month for GPU, which I've already played Gears 4, Gears 5, Outer Worlds (currently), have aspirations for Battle Toads, Halo Infinite, and other IPs that come out.
It's definitely a great deal, especially when you don't pay the full on price.
Everwild looks interesting. I'll have to keep my eye on that and come on Obsidian, you're better than a survival game.
Anything look good? Can't watch at work.
When the EA dude came out I muted it. Now they're just stroking themselves with Black Friday sales.
Were the Rare and Obsidian games the 2 big reveals? If so, just yawn.

No, I try not to watch as much of this stuff as possible.

because thats what this is. Its an episode of Inside Xbox.
All the Yakuza games on Xbox and Game Pass in early 2020. Finally. About damn time.
And Halo Reach on 12/3 in 4K! Nice! Finally. And on PC in Game Pass cross play too. Sweet!

I thought this was supposed to be an actual event where they revealed things. Like Nintendo and Sony do.

MS has an inside xbox event every month which just touches up on a few things, shows a few things, and have interviews with smaller developers. This is an expanded version of that and their biggest one of the year, but they keep the same format and the same hosts.
They are really going in trying to get that Japanese market on board. Good for them. Glad to see the original KH finally release on a non-PS console. It's been long overdue.
That's pretty sweet if it's true. Been waiting on Streets of Rage 4 for a while. I guess that means it'll be out in early 2020 then.
Ya I'm disappointed in that survival Obsidian crap as well. Hopefully it's just a side mini project and nothing huge so they can get to work on their next magnum RPG opus.

Its not taking resources away from what the other team is working on. The people working on this game have been working on it for a while and they hired on something like 100 more staff to work on the other projects. What made MS pull the trigger on buying the company is the game that the majority of the staff is currently working on but it probably won't be shown until E3.
Was Yakuza PS exclusive?
That's pretty weird.
Ya Yakuza games have been on PC a while now so not sure why those ppl are butthurt over it but one thing is for certain. All that sand in their vadge must itch like crazy.
> How long are those games anyhow? Are they about the same length as Sleeping Dogs

Yeah about same as sleeping dogs
They're pretty lengthy. Each one averages well over 20 hours. I think 0 took me the longest like close to 40 hours but that was with me doing most side missions.
> dustin11 wrote:

bunch of side quests too? I'm trying to figure out if I should give them a show, but if they take like 40-60 hours each then I'll probably have to skip them.
Tons of side missions. They're really short quests, but there's so damn many of them in each game and they're really cool and quirky and most don't feel like filler which is nice. Yakuza 0 alone had like 50 or so I believe.
Plus Halo MCC isn't on PC yet cause a buddy of mine who only has PC w/GP couldn't find it on there so it's nice to see they're finally giving the MCC the cross play and cross platform treatment.
> Heres everything coming to Game Pass that was announced today:
Thanks for this, I was looking for a nice consolidated list.
I'm mostly serious about what I said, us being a game trading site and all.
But, Game Pass really exceeded my expectations.
I will do whatever I can to extend my GP for as long as possible, might even eventually pay MSRP for what they offer.
(There are just so many ways to extend it cheaply, like Taco Bell, and currently the Discord offer

Sold off my PS4 Pro in a fit of rage when Vudu told me it wasn't a 4K streaming device, and I knew where I was headed. I know they're a hundred fifty cheaper in a couple weeks, and I coulda waited, but I didn't wanna wait. Picked up the new Gears 5 X model (very cool design actually; layered skull underneath the faux ice, looks wicked, custom turn-on and shut-off sound effect as well), started installing it, immediately shocked and pleased with the Gamepass selection. Snagged Bloodstained, Dead Cells, Enter the Gungeon, Eternal, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Slay the Spire, Path of Exile (to mess with, probably rather play on PC) and Superhot and downloaded Fortnite so my roommate would shut up, got to play Bloodstained for the first time on X and that's really all I needed to see to know I was home. Once the exclusives are out of the way, PS4 Pro is a real bummer. The X is sooooooo good. Even the controller feels better to me, I'm not sure why everyone loves the DS4 so much, I hates it.
Nice to actually have a 4K console finally. Considering picking up Star Wars, interested to see how hot it runs, resolution and framerate. Expecting actual 4K 30 I guess (maybe 1440p?), which would be fine, the PC requirements actually sound pretty rough to get 144hz at 1440p.
I haven't been too impressed with the last few months of GP but when I think back about some of the AAA titles I otherwise would have spent, even if it's just one or two...it pays for a year of the service (even at full price). And it gives a hefty amount of random games for the kiddo to try.
I've been wanting to try Rage 2 so I'm happy to see that...but it made me realize that I haven't beaten Gears 5 yet. And that's been a blast, and one of the best looking games on the X. To that point, I love that with GP I don't have to rush through anything to try to trade it before the price plummets. My issue is now with managing hdd space.
Rage 2 is kinda meh. Lots of repetition and story is just ugh. Why bother? It's a perfect example though of why every game doesn't need to be an open world because the open world of Rage 2 is quite deserted and dead. I wish it was more like The Outer Worlds. Smaller world, more condensed but loaded with missions, lore and content. Then again, I wish many open world games were like The Outer Worlds because that game is rapidly becoming my new GOTY contender.
> Rage 2 is kinda meh. Lots of repetition and story is just ugh. Why bother?
In this case, I may bother simply because it's "free". I otherwise would not have bothered, but since it's in a service I'm paying for, why not? Just not right now, got plenty to do, even after I hit 60 on my two toons in WoW.
Zodiac Age is definitely on my list, since I heard it runs at 60fps. That'll be nice.
I mean if it's technically free than sure ya got nothing to lose. I just found it kinda lame and boring. Definitely should have not been a sandbox game with not enough content to fill it with. Game is short too. Roughly 6hrs-ish making it an ideal GP run through length.
It was immensely dull. I don't know why I finished it. I was probably mad and defiant to soldier thru because I spent almost full price on it.
I just rushed the story. About 6-7 hours and you're done. Super quick if you just focus on the story and whatever side missions there are only adds on a few more hours to that so overall it's not a very long game nor should it be seeing as though it's quite uninteresting and generic as they come but the way it's designed fools you into thinking it has a ton of content being in a pretty big open sandbox world, which it does not.

I here yah on the toons, I have been taking it slow since classic launched. My Druid is 48 and my mage 22.... but I am still tempted to start a shaman, it just sucks that the classes I like to play.. more so the way I want to play them Feral DPS on the Druid and Enhancement on the Shaman suck in vanilla. I suppose I have the "glass cannon" mage
Anyway, the guys that did Rage 2 did Mad Max? man I kinda wanted to play Rage 2... I really wanted to like Mad Max, they did some things well but I got bored and have not gone back. I am stoked to play outer worlds but I am going to wait for boxing day deal usually 50% off... though I kinda want to wait for it on switch... I wonder how it will hold up?
> Did you play this game before or after The Outer Worlds?
Way before The Outer Worlds, when Rage 2 first came out, I wanna say May or June? But now every type of open world RPG like game that I play after The Outer Worlds is going to have huge shoes to fill for me because that game is becoming a serious GOTY contender for me. It's just so damn good.

Oh okay, I was thinking that maybe you played it after The Outer Worlds so by in comparison it was trash but since you have played it before TOW then the game is probably just kind of trash even when not compared to anything good recently. I just got done playing BL3 (Bastards included, like, zero post game content for some stupid reason), so I don't know how Rage 2 would compare.
